Not keen on this one... what's the main focus supposed to be? Remember the eye will be drawn the the brightest part of an image which in this case is the lettering my some distance. Not much balance to the shot and just seems a little muddled. Oh and I edited your post ever so slightly so it was more accurate

Haha ok my main critique would definitely be to get rid of the fuckin border lol I'd say only a marginal contrast boost... not much. If you boost it too much you'll loose the detail in the castle which you don't want, but I'd be tempted to give it just a little tweak to see how it looked

I think there's a place called 'Watergate Park' just past Whickham that I've been to a few times... it's ok but a bit grim. I'm not really sure I'd class it as a lake as such either, more a big pond and the walks in the place generally aren't near the lake itself. Lake score - 4/10 Kind of wish I'd called this thread 'rate my lake' now for some strange reason

Haha this thread has developed since I last checked Ok is a man made lake still classed as a lake? If not my whole thread is ruined Never been to Killingworth... always avoided it as it just seemed like the kind of place ferral kids would run wild and old ladies would be walking around with their dog in a pram. For a lowly 3/10 rating I'd not risk entering it's vacinity tbh Not heard of big waters so will have a look

Lakes man LAKES... the clue's in the thread title! Never actually been to Kielder before... driven kind of around it on my way to see some clients near there. Should really check it out tbh. Are there lots of walks around it? I always kind of just think of it as a place people with too much money take their kids to go canoeing so never considered walking around it.

Yeah I agree... nice shots but composition is a little too standard. Also with the dog if you got down to his eye level it'd make for a better shot IMO. Good shots as they are but could be improved a little

Never really classed the North East as being particularly great for it's lakes... although I'm not really a lake enthusiast. However I took the dog for a walk around Bolam Lake over the weekend and was impressed! It has everything from the lake itself, to wildlife (loads of swans, geese, goslings all wandering around... dog got a fright when dive bombed in to the lake in the middle of about 8 swans who started going mad ) to woodland and erm other stuff I've forgotten. You can walk several routes around it... one took me about 15 mins, the next took me about 45 mins and I was only half way round so took a short cut back. Canny place and would recommend. Lake score - 8/10

Pretty decent tbh, well when match fit anyway. Work hard, track runners, chip in with a few goals here and there and good passer. Pretty much box to box type of player.

I need to get back in to playing footy as my 5-a-side team disbanded last year and other than the odd game here and there I never play now. Would like something a little more regular so if anyone organises footy and is looking for players let me know. I'm happy to play in a league or just a kick about, not fussed tbh just want to get back playing

Yeah I can't really compete with that tbh... luckily it's usually the bride who books the photographer so my lack of tits shouldn't hamper me too much. If it does I'll have to start eating loads of Greggs steak bakes and grow moobies to compensate
