Watched The Hobbit last night... not impressed. Was like watching some 12 year old play World of Warcraft or something for 2 and a half hours. Not a patch on Lord of the Rings -
Just wash your knob in the sink man... much easier!
-
Nah not for me... used to when me and the missus 1st got together but after nearly 8 years I can wait a week so as not to end up looking like I've just murdered someone with my cock
-
You're talking about having sex with a lass when she's on aren't you sick fucker
-
I don't wear after shave. It's strange as I used to and then one day just thought 'nah fuck it can't be arsed'. I have Issey Miyake, D&G Light Blue, Armani Diamonds (for men) and I think another D&S one but never bother to use them. And no I don't stink

Things that you just can't get your head round

I once tried to seperate the whites from darks. Made 2 piles on the floor and bent over to pick up the whites, headbutted the corner of a chest of drawers, knocked myself out and had a 2 week concussion. It's just not worth it -
Weird but awesome!

#1 - The eye is naturally drawn to the brightest part of the image which means her face isn't really what I looked at with this shot. I think like JawD said less hair in front of the face but also more light on it. #2 - Great image... I'd be tempted to up the midtones slightly and then darken the shadows slightly to make it pop more #3 - I think her boobs get in the way from this angle and you kind of shot from a neither close enough in or far enough out to avoid this issue. Seems like she has a kind of 'boob shelf' that you have to try and look past to see her #4 - I think she's too much in the corner and the eyes are too close to the top of the frame. The lighting is also a little flat so this coupled with that makes her look a little superimposed on to the backdrop #5 - Very straight on pose... if you look at the left of her face (her right) there's a little shadow on the edge. I think having her slightly side (facing our left a bit with both body and face) on would have meant this shadow would have been covering more of that side of her face and added more depth #6 - Good shot... can't pick up much wrong with that one. Overall a good set and the smoking shot in particular is top drawer. Can't help thinking it's a little dark in the mid tones and also a B&W version with some added sharpening would probably make for an extremely strong image

Quite different to their other albums and can imagine some people won't like it, but I think it's pretty top drawer. Band of Horses album from last year is also well worth a listen. The Shins - Port of Morrow is a good album albeit slightly commercial in its sound. The Pines - Dark so Gold is an absolute gem of an album The Virginmarys - King of Conflct is a really good rock album

Watched Killer Joe over the weekend. Anyone else seen it? Thought it was excellent. Really good story, brilliant acting... even by Matthew McConaughey who played the twisted evil bad guy in the film. Full on bush shots from 2 different female actors and some full nudity from one of them... a really hot blonde lass (don't know her name). Had everything from blood, sex, a woman giving oral sex to a piece of fried chicken, guns... pretty much everything really. Would highly recommend! -
What do you mean by spot focus? That could just be any spot available couldn't it? What I meant was choose the absolute nearest focal point even if it's one of the very outer one's. Shooting at f/2.8 or below and not doing this will always mean your extremely shallow focal plane on an FF camera make the eyes OOF a huge amount of the time.
-
Aye that'll be your centre and re-compose mate... the DOF is much shallower on a FF body so you're going to have to learn to use nearest point or you'll end up with loads of your shots being OOF. Although tbf you should be doing that anyway
-
Top one is nice and crisp, you can tell the difference I think already with that shot. I'd slide the highlights slider to the left in LR though and it'll get rid of the blown areas at the top. It's amazing how much better LR is at this with a FF body over crop. Bottom one looks a little OOF to me?

Watched Cockneys Vs Zombies yesterday... it's an odd concept for a film when you consider the fine seperation between the 2 species to begin with. It was also shite Also watched Black Swan... The scene where Milas Kunis munches out Natalie Portman is possibly the greatest scene in any film ever. Rest of the film was pretty decent too. The other day I watched The Adjustment Bureau which wasn't as good as it could have been... was ok but kind of naff at the same time. I also watched Phone Booth for the 1st time which was actually a lot better than I expected. Oh and I've been ill with man flu for the last few days hence the Love Film marathon -
Aye top one needs a degree to the left rotation... think off memory it's edit, image rotation? Then put 1 degree anti clockwise. I think that's the best pic... all decent but they suffer a bit from being very centre composed... need to use a little more rule of 3rds I feel.

I shot a wedding recently at Lumley Castle, and had the resident Toontastic photography admin and chief tog JawD assisting me for the 2nd time. As with the last time I have to saw Darrel was a fantastic help and captured some cracking images of the groom and best man getting ready! Here's a few of the pics and a link underneath to the full days storyboard of images. All groom and best man pics are courtesy of JawD. I think you did a good job tbh... did you use AI Servo mode? Might be called something different on Nikon actually?
-
Good pics mate... although all 3 together kind of remind me of those pics you see posted in the funny pics thread of a movie where they add text to make it funny. A bit like this: I've got a stick, I'VE GOT A STICK!!!! Stupid dog it's just a stick One day when you're least expecting it I'm going to shit in your pillow case Hmm just me maybe (been a long day lol)
-
Never good to check the time like... classic error. I removed all alarm clocks etc from the bedroom so there was no temptation to do the old 'if I fall asleep now I'll get x amount of hours' mistake
-
Nightmare! At least you can take the day off to hopefully get some rest. Problem is once you start sleeping during the day to catch up it fucks up your sleep cycle even more
-
Ahh right... aye tried all that... shagging the missus, wanking before bed, waiting for her to fall asleep and then having a danger wank. Doesn't work unfortunately
-
I think so tbh... No idea?
-
Aye... damn it!
-
Aye and she's got this new mask she likes to wear when going out at night for some odd reason too
