Hhmmm not convinced at all, I'm glad to see a foreign fighter get the nod in Las Vegas but I thought Hopkins was bloody unlucky not to have got the decision, I didn't think Calzaghe won a round until the 4th this is after a first round knockdown that gave Hopkins a two point advantage, Hopkins fought a clever spoiling fight that stopped Calzaghe's game, I thought Calzaghe barely landed a significant punch all night but was the busier and was the aggressor which undoubtedly won the eye of the judges. But who cares, he won !!!

Joe Calzaghe puts his record of 44 fights without defeat on the line against Bernard Hopkins in Las Vegas. Welshman Calzaghe, 36, has successfully defended his world super-middleweight title 21 times over the last decade. But he makes the step up to light-heavyweight to take on American Hopkins, 43, who has amassed a record of 48 wins from 53 fights. Both weighed in at 12 stones 5lbs (173lbs) - two pounds under the light-heavyweight limit - on Friday. After the weigh-in, they clashed in the traditional pre-match photo-call. Hopkins, nicknamed "The Executioner", told Calzaghe: "I'm going to bust your heart." But for the first time in a week dotted with media appearances, Calzaghe hit back with some insults of his own and promoter Frank Warren said: "That's exactly what I wanted.
