I think he should be able to sue. They should let him sue for £1M, but then take it ALL back (and some) on the basis that he wasted that much of taxpayers money on security + trying to defend such a ridiculously clear cut case. Never thought I'd stick up for Leeds in any way shape or form, but I wouldn't say 'Leeds is a rugby city'. Football definitely overpowers rugby in Leeds. I agree that there is a strong presence of egg wrestlers in Leeds aswell, but thats true of anywhere in Yorkshire. You can see 'em all queing up at the chippy in Headingley for miles... most of them are particularly ugly people. In Yorkshire's defence though I do believe they had the first ever football team (Sheffield)... though f*** knows who they played against.
