Lap of Honour --- Will you stay and applaud?
SCOREBOARD1 replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
how the fuck can anyone who calls themselves a toon fan boo a team that came 5th in the premiership ? By the way, the bold bit is spot on, so we better enjoy such heights of somewhere between 10th and 12th while we can [those who go to games anyway, which rules out CT and Toonpack] Your spot-on there mate. That was a disgrace when that happened -

How the fuck can anyone who calls themselves a toon fan not stay behind to applaud the lads?????. We have stayed up, beat the scum 5-1, had some canny results away in beating Arsenal and Everton and came back from 4-0 down against Arsenal. Not bad season at all, lets be honest it gonna get any fucking better for a while. -

Soylent Green is class. you seen Omga man mate?. Another top sci-fi with Charlie Heston -
One or two??? Every shirt from at least the 50s up until 1993 had red numbers on the back of it - EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!! The very reason we have a patch on the back of the shirts is because for some reason the club refuse to use a contrasting colour. Makems and West Brom both have striped shirts without a patch but then they've got black and red numbers respectively. I'd actually settle for the blue ones like we had between 2003 & 2005. But definitely not the gold - that looked fucking awful! Nail on the head mate. Red numbers have been part of our strip for years and it looks class .Only when the Sky league started they disappeared. Panels on the back is not part of our strip and should be removed asap. Get fucking umbro back.
-
Another shit toon strip. How fucking hard is it to have normal black and white stripes on the front and back with a red number. Im sick of these fucking panels. Puma are shite. Thank fuck its the last year of the deal with them cunts.

I read recently that we were 3-0 down somewhere, away from home, and Smith would give the hairdryer treatment when we were playing well, but we're 3-0 down and playing fuckin pish, can't string two passes together which wasn't unusual for that long pish style we played. So they're all sitting in the dressing room waiting for world war 3, and fuckin Smith and Colin Suggett are huddled by a radio listening to the 350 from Sandown Aye Craig he gave it the old Forrest Gump, Leighton's career largely ended that May. Didn't Suggett fuck off when Smith was appointed? Would have been Bobby Saxton IIRC - even more evidence though for it though. Aye Saxton not Suggett. Anyone remember Smith being attacked in the dug-out on New Years Day when Wolves beat us 4-1??? I remember Brock's free kick, his best for the club, when we were 0-3 doon, good time to score it Kev. He must've taken 600 free kicks for the toon and scored 2 or 3. He was nee Beckham. Aye was great free-kick. He scored a peach of a free-kick against Charlton at home midweek I think the next season. We were 3-0 down at the time like too

RED. What a load of shite -
60,000??? those stupid cockney fuckers. Struggle to get 40,000 even if they were doing well. Least we will get a massive allocation when we play them. Doubt the West Ham fans will be happy, playing a fucking souless, half empy stadium that none of them wanted. Then again in modern football when are fans thoughts taken into consideration???? I feel sorry for the them.
