Bremen 3 4 Valencia

Bremen 3 3 Valencia That boy Marin [he's got the physique of a fourteen year old, but seems as strong as an ox] looks really good. Anyone missing this is missing a treat.
-
Anyone watching the Bremen Valencia game ??? It's fucking mint ITV4 btw.
-
Thanks, lads. 39k - a pretty decent turnout.
-
How's the attendance looking, pud?

You betcha! Haal would have sold to anyone. I reckon he couldn't [and probably still can't] believe his luck at pulling off the sting he did on LardAsh. LardAsh probably did want to do the due dilligence stuff, but Hall convinced him to "rush, rush, rush because Shepherd was in hospital and the moment couldn't be missed" or something similar. Normal businessmen would have taken a step back, but LardAsh, being a compulsive lad, couldn't stop himself from taking the plunge.

I don't get it, is it that I felt the need to add that in for fear of reprisal or abuse? Or that it has genuinely been posted before. I've seen you people at work, y'all are jackals, i was trying not to get caught up in the frenzy. Rabid jackalls, I'd call them.

Yes, that's the twat

Can't help thinking that a win tonight and we'll have this league pissed (to borrow a phrase)
-
It was Howard Webb - I'd add Bennet, D'Arso and I think it was Barry Knight who let that GBH on Bernard go at Everton that time. Of course, Howard Webb. You just have to look at him and you know for certain he's more interested in himself than the game. Twat.

Cheri Lunghi. She would have made a fantastic manager at NUFC - I could bombard her with letters/txts/e-mails <_< I likes her v.v.much

Sergio Conceicao. And the ref who let him get away with that shit in the San Siro. Talking of refs, Uriah Renney, Roger Milford, Kim Neilsen, the twat who disallowed Fat Boy's equalizing goal v Fulham (based purely on him seeing our previous game) last season (was it that Poll?), Dermot Gallagher, and every other shithead ref who thinks he has to make a name for himself when he does one of our games. Michael Gray. Justin Fashanu. Denise Wise. Peter Storrie. Simon Jordan. Son of (Sir) Alex (wierd looking fucker). 90+% of football journalists. Folk who post on NO 'Motty'. 'Lawro'. Big ears. 'J.P.' Probably all the ITV football commentators. Maniche (sp) - the lad who does the CC show. And the tart who reads the txts (she hasn't read any of mine  <_< ) . 'Clem' lord I'd love to boot him in the clems. Steve Claridge. Could be going all day, so I'll stop here.

I know this is small but it gives you an idea where it was: A better pic with the classic Noda Taxi rank in the foreground. I can't remember when the Haymarket bus station was closed, but after a few drinks in The Farmers I used to go into The Food Corporation (which was part of a load of temporary buildings where the buses used to park) to get the best grot burger I have ever had, prior to walking up to the game

Jonny D was on the other side of the street from me in Whitley a few years ago. He shouts over to me, 'HOW DID THE COURT CASE GO ?'. I cannot recall my reply, but his question will remain with me forever
-
Hmmm, probably not. More likely 10 - 1 !!!!
-
Could this be the first 10 - 0 of the season??

http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2010/mar/10...y-urban-decline Should be worth a watch. It's a city that fascinates me particularly because of its musical heritage, coupled with my love of soul and techno. The place looked fucking weird, like some post-apocalyptic movie. It showed what can happen when capitalism is allowed to run riot with communities being destroyed to allow the car manufacturers' dream of a city where no one can live without a car. And then they upped and left when it became cheaper to produce their vehicles elsewhere, leaving behind one almighty mess. When you see places like this within the US it makes you wonder what Western civilisation is really all about. The 'bottom line', Alex. Greed. Me, me, me. More, more, more. Fuck you, I'm all right. And it fuckin' stinks to high heaven, imo.

Could be worse man. Imagine being married to Mr Hips?

Two things. Firstly, this appears like an attempt at the classic divide and conquer i.e. get the fans [who 'support' MA and Dekka] to shout down the 'not reasonable' ones. Secondly, if it is just a tiny minority, why the need to go overboard about them so much Dewick ??????

Mate do you understand what we gave them? We basically gave them the basis of what we know as modern technology, for nothing. Go on then, elaborate on this if you can. I'm aware that we helped them out breaking codes (Enigma etc) and were involved (but certainly not central) to the Manhatten project, but what other technology did we give them? I'd think the German's should feel more aggrieved for having their rocket program nicked. It was Andrew Marr who told me. If he tells me it, then I believe him EDIT: It wasn't ENIGMA. It was a whole load of stuff. Marr tells the story of some guy getting into a taxi, all on his lonesome, carrying a bag containing a vast array of Top Secret stuff with him - technology included.

Mate do you understand what we gave them? We basically gave them the basis of what we know as modern technology, for nothing. Yeah, I knew that. That is a fact. We were trying to establish some sort of trust between us. Apparently the Americans were shocked at how much we knew in certain areas of technology. But we still went for a loan after the war. Sure of it.
-
Regarding the 50 year debt we were paying back to the Americans, Stevie: Wasn't that the loan we secured after the war in order to make ends meet? Someone will remember the guy's name (I'm getting worse at remembering names) who went over to the US asking for financial help. The American's, quite rightly, said 'take it or leave it' when what was hoped for didn't exactly match up to our expectations. We had no option but to take it. One thing I've been thinking about the loan we took out, surely it helped create the National Health Service?

I'm fairly sure that the surrender at Singapore went down as a massive disgrace/shame on the British army.
