People forget he's only about 22 with him making his debut so young at Palermo in 2006. Mebeez we'll get £3/£4m in today off Celtic for Forster, this Westwood deal looks like it'll be about 750k. He's too ugly to play for the toon anyway Forster. Would he replace Harper? He is better than Krul? I can't see why he'd want to leave Coventry to come and si .... actually what am a on about, course he'd want to come here, but he's been doing well at Coventry and cant imagine he'd fancy sitting on the bench. On ugly players, we've got Jonas, Perch and Best so I don't think Forsters going to make much difference. I think fans of clubs like Villa, Everton, Tottenham, Leeds etc.. wouldn't put us up there imo, just how they are. In my view: Fanbase: 4th Local fanbase: 2nd Turnover: 6th Media exposure: 4th History: 7th Attendances: 3rd So pick what you like out of that. I'm not good with mean, mode and medians but I'd make that us about 4th/5th. I'd have ; 1st) Man Utd 2nd) Arsenal 3rd) Liverpool 4th) Chelsea 5th)Us alongside Spurs and Villa. I'd class us as bigger club than them but I'm generalising what other's would think.

There are 92 professional clubs in the Football leagues I believe. Considering we'd be named in the top 6 by the majority of the country that means WE ARE A BIG CLUB. End of story. It's not just to do with the size of the ground, or history, it's how you are percieved by others and those in the game and we are percieved as a massive club.

I think we all acknowledge that you have to spend large to gain success nowadays but this notion that plunging the club into debt on the back of 'we're the 3rd biggest club in England' is crazy. I don't buy into this fan size debate having much say on matters. We are going along canny and we have the quality in the squad to compete on our day with the vast majority of this league. There's not many I'd swap Simpson, Colo, Willo, Jose, Barton, Tiote, Nolan, Carroll, Ben Arfa for. We need to add a few select quality players who'll cover up front and a right winger. Cover for Jose and we DO have a very good squad of players. I'm not normally 'Mr Brightside' but fuck me, d'you think we should be bidding for dzeko for example at 25 mill or Torres as we're 'as big as Chelsea' It's a building project and we're on schedule, if not ahead this term.
