  1. Agreed - again it is pure 'itk' speculation at the moment, but if the family have jetted off and he's in such a hurry that an official transfer deal is not going to be quick enough for him to get out of here then SOMETHING is wrong. Not entirely sure what is going on but this whole scenario just stinks of something shady going on here, either on his - his father or our part. One thing is for sure, there is absolutely no fucking way we should let him just walk - i love the bloke and all he has done for us, and if something is amiss then fair enough i can understand his head being elsewhere. But back in the championship even Lovenkrands was playing and scoring shortly after his father died and he wasnt there for him, that's about as extreme a personal emergency as you can get imho and there is little beyond that would excuse any kind of let off for san to take colo off for nowt. They cany afford him, they've said as much, and im not joking but 2 points off the drop with half the first team injured/banned is not the time to be letting your 'purples' swan off for free, no matter how much of a crisis is going on. If he aint in thesquad tomorrow then im expecting him to leave, if he leaves then they better stump up the cash, and if they arent already looking for a replacement? then they'll have no-one to blame if he does a ben arfa and skips town - leaving us in the shit at the end of the window. Not trying to be doom and gloomy, but i've got a bad feeling about this.
  2. Rumour has it he's been cheating on his wife and she's jetted back to Argentina with the kids. Source for the wife leaving part : http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-wire/coloccini-departure-may-be-true/ cheating on her is speculation at the moment.
  3. Pardew has money on Newcastle losing this game and wanted to make sure?
  4. Remember this is the same ref that didn't book De Jong for breaking HBA's leg.
  5. that was more of a penalty for us than it was a free kick for them - and guess which was given that resulted in a goal - le sigh
  6. Read the first line on your post CT and shit myself thinking my stream was lagging and something bad had happened. Dont scare me like that xD
  7. Collocini vs fellaini in slow motion is glorious, beautifully hairy television
  8. True you boys are certainly having a rough patch - but with an even thinner back 4 than usual and our main goalscorer off the squad sheet tonight this really could be anyones game. A real test of that 'fight and spirit' people like to throw around when the quality just isn't quite there!
  9. Need to get Shefki Kuchi back on the phone!!
  10. definitely, and he has a seemingly insatiable thirst for throwing in a meaty slide tackle when he gets the chance! pardew definitely deserves some credit for finding a way to bring out the best natural use of his footballing abilities
  11. Just had flashbacks of perch playing on the back line constantly when he joined. now i need a shower
  12. I wouldn't be surprised, agents make any of these potential deals a fucking nightmare - even worse when you start bringing clauses and reps into the picture. I've said it repeatedly and will continue to do so, no matter how many sources report and how many quotes people have. Until i see a player holding a clubs shirt fuck all is certain. Could even turn out that it was a warning shot to NUFC to try and drum up a little more juice in the contract "I'LL DO IT! I'LL REALLY GO!!" also
  13. Im off to a murder mystery role play night - could be great - could be terrible. To those working or having a more traditional celebration have a sound new years and catch you on the other side! (hopefully)
  14. Be a shame if we payed for his flight over for them :3
  15. Seems now Toebertan has gotten over whatever was affecting his little piggies it's about time for someone else to injure theirs - with danny simpson apparently out for the month after breaking it by half time in the arsenal game. Could excuse his performance in the 2nd half? likely he was just shite and pardews given him this excuse and told him to hide until debuchy gets here. Who knows. http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/main/s70/st180488.htm? "Alan Pardew can add another injured player to his ever growing list after it was confirmed that Danny Simpson will be out for between three and four weeks with a broken toe. The defender was substituted off in the 82nd minute against Arsenal on Saturday evening and is now set to miss games against, Everton, Brighton, Norwich, Reading and possibly Aston Villa. He joins Steven Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye, Haris Vuckic, Dan Gosling, Vurnon Anita and Jonas Gutierrez in the treatment room. Pardew said earlier today; "Maybe he should have came off at half-time. But he will be out for three or four weeks.""
  16. Tweet from him just there - not really up to snuff on my french but a pass through google translate didnt really do it any better. Salut à tous. Rdv le 6 janvier pour le tournoi de football les princes de paris au gymnase pierre de coubertin à paris went to: Hi all. Appointment January 6 football tournament for the princes of paris at the gym stone coubertin in paris if hes gonna be round those parts anyway maybe some merit in the psg interest? might be grasping a bit but i'd honestly be surprised for him to stay in this league if he left us
  17. surely they cant get away with not following up on it? false advertising and all that
  18. well yeah - both teams had defensive lapses that led to the two goals, but especially towards the end of the first half we definitely looked like the more dangerous intent side. They were struggling to move around with any kind of patience and organisation and resorted to a few counter hits on the break, only one of which led to anything. Whereas we had more than a couple of well built up plays that whilst didnt result in any more goals, showed a lot more discipline than we have for a while - going forward at least, the back was still a shambles!
