Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Filmfolk - I've been trying to remember/track down a film I saw years ago that was possibly on Channel 4 during a 'Blaxploitation' series they screened. Watching with mates through the haze of the smoke in the room I'll be fucked if I can remember much of it other than it was funny. Anyway the clues are - it was American, possibly 70's, cheap budget, featured an impoverished family chasing an obvious toy bat on a string around a room shouting with excitement "catch it catch it - its a black chicken !" Any ideas ? . . Another blaxploitation one watched under similar circumstancrs that I've been keen to track down so can watch again was like a spoof horror one that may have been in b&w and memorable for a line . It featured a house that had a butler who was the kind of wise owl in the whole film . There was a zombie in it and this butler was scared of it and the line I remember from it was him turning to camera , holding silver tray, eyes agog, and saying "there's two things in life I don't wanna be - AND BOTH'A THEM'S A ZOMBIE !" Random as y like I know, but any help appreciated ! -
"and just where were the Germans ? . . and quite frankly . . who cares !?"
-
Here y are sausage . I've taken the liberty of taking her fucking bob off too .

Well that seems more than reasonable like Especially as it's bound to have a degree of wow factor just for 'being there' rather than on tv. I must say I'm intrigued to see what Boylo's come up with. I'm as sarky and sceptical as they come but at the end of the day I hope it's good despite (lazily) thinking 'oh its going to be shit with sheep, hills and london buses' or whatever. Eyes of the world and all that. I'll be there at 9pm infront of the box with me 3-d geps on hoping for the best !

To whom / where should I present this list d'y rekon ? It's serious shit this - I've got future generations to save here by highlighting this void . They're being cheated .

Oh jeez Chez - Magenta De Vine . I've lost me JP loose lob now man ! All uptight and red lipstick and a laser-engineered bob. Her and Katie Putric (?) on the Word were munters. REPORTAGE - there's another for the list ! Magenta Devine (born 4 November 1957; real name Kim Taylor) is a TV presenter and journalist best known for presenting the youth travel programme, RoughGuide and "Reportage" on BBC2 in the 1990s. She later presented "Young, Gifted and Broke" for ITV. Devine originally worked for Queen/Th

Thinking on - music/kulcha-wise there was some good shows late 80's>90's . Rapido, Snub TV, Big World Cafe, The Chart Show (to some extent as had featured specialist charts) , THE WORD . Not sure what today's equivalents are ? Is it now just Big Brother, Geordie Shore and shite ? Where's the equivalent outlet for the shows mentioned ? Considering there was 4 channels back then (plus MTV if you were lucky, or at the pool hall !) . Canny frightening really . Ney wonder we're fucked .

Snub was ahead of the curve 'yooth' tv wise like. Didnt realise it was Street-Porter's doing. There was a Sunday show that was great but didnt last that I think she might have been involved with . Big World Cafe think called. Was on at Sundays early afternoons like (?) Aye Jenny, oh Jenny . It could have all been so different . I passed her on a zebra crossing in Trfalgar Square (on day before Poll Tax riots !) and I was so cuntstruck I must've looked a right Jordan Henderson as I picked me tongue off the deck) . I'd blown me chance. Right there. On that zebra crossing . *cries to sleep tonight*

Snub TV ? That was always canny . Was watching one with a pre White Room KLF on Ytube last night because of this thread actually . There was another similar show on bbc with the lovely Jenny Powell that I always watched too.

Been watching the docramentrys on the British athletes that have been on the bbc recently . Theyve been really good and a reminder as to their sacrifices and dedication etc. that's pretty much swept away what with all the 100ml drink allowances, only pay by Visa, Mcdonalds and all that fuckin shite. Last night's one about the judo kid was canny and the Tom Daley one was moving seeing the deterioration with his dad. The Ussain Bolt one a couple of weeks ago was great like. Couldnt fail to warm to him, seems a top bloke. Anyway Im getting there, need to sort a viewing itinerary and get all the channels tuned to see some of it rather than whatever highlights package the bbc will have lined up. Its complicated.
