2. I'd like to see SMO put a dart board up tbh, bet he's a right kack-handed fuckwit. Reckon his missus'll end up doing it for him, while he sits there watching house programmes and texting pictures of his cock. 119753 I'll have you know I put a curtain pole up at the weekend, well my fatha did. I don't like to involve myself in such menial tasks tbh. 119816 that has to be a euphemism!

6. Put it this way, it left the bloke with an open gash on his face.... 115250 I can think of a few guys on this site who would go to any lengths to get an open gash on their faces tbh.
7. it took a long time to read but finally made me smile. Must try harder
8. was anyone else thinking that this thread was going to tell us that he was a "very naughty boy"?
9. Does her contract not specify 'authorised absences' or some such similar phrase? 111100 i don't think so tbh. the company has independant managers for each home, and very little centralised structure. It means that the majority of management are jumped up little fuckers who do things exactly by the letter of policy so they never have to explain anything. it fucks me off because my 2 kids have both got the same illness and with my wife working nights, i'm averaging 2 hours sleep a night, and my wife is only getting about 4 hours in the day. With the effect this is having on her immune system, she'll take forever to get over it, and i'll probably catch the fucker as well. And I start a new job in 2 weeks
10. Bit of background. My wife works in the care industry for a small company looking after brain damaged adults. The company that she works for has a policy that if you have 3 or more absences within ayear, you are liable for disciplinary procedure. My wife has currently had 2 periods of absence. She currently has a flu-like viral infection which is contagious. By turning up for work she is in breach of Health and Safety legislation, but she cannot not turn up for fear of disciplinary action. My question is, does this not constitute a form of bullying as she is being forced to break legislation under the threat of action that would jeopardise her future career. I understand the need for companies to protect themselves from pisstakers but surely this can't be right?
11. I'm confused Do you both have pregnant better halves or are you fucking Wacky's missus?
12. Just on the BBC website now. Sunderland have sacked McCarthy. Now, thanks to Freddie dragging his heels, we are the third most prestigious management vacancy in England. We'll never see Ottmar now
13. I'm a little disappointed by the above responses so I'll have to say.... It must have been Bowyer as he despised being associated with the left wing
14. hope so, of course there will still be some, despite the certain upsurge in team performances, who would say we are "better off without him"...although I suspect most of them will keep their head down and be quiet ... 93583 Not gonna happen until Shearer has severed his ties with the club though is it? 93584 I suppose not. The irony is that Shearers outing of his striking partner [if true] cost him a real chance of him captaining the club to a trophy last season.... Or Souness, whoever it was, or both. Do you not think Shearer will leave the club in the summer ? 93589 Was Bellamy the fella with the mobile then? "Wait a minute, then text me something about kissing my arse"
15. The film "Meteor" has an asteroid (not a meteor strangely) hitting a swiss ski resort, but that film is a little older and its not at the beginning. Any help?
16. Jimbo's telly? I'm at work at the mo' and noone is running the story yet.
17. Not wanting to unduly court controversy ( and this is not defending griffin in any way - he's odious scum) but they seem to be doing a bit of a public relations prosecution. Balancing the scales so to speak. Listenning to the clips on the radio, there was nothing stated that "incites racial hatred" or anything else. I heard him state that many Metroplolitan Police thought it wasn't racial and he was killed by a black man. that he was a bully and a drug dealer. He may have been talking shit but its not exactl;y a sweeping racial statement. The other fella who was quoted as referring to immigrants as cockroaches, infact likened them to cockroaches in the way they take and give nothing back. It's a comment that is misjudged but it is not the same as what is being portrayed. It's like saying that someone is acting like an idiot is different to saying someone is an idiot. Its a simile (i think). If they wanted to clamp down on people spouting racially inciteful propoganda, then use examples when they are, rather than making it look like a token "we'll do one of the other side too" job.
18. I had assumed it was that a full bottle hurled at someone would have a bit of weight behind it and might be deemed a deadly weapon! Reminds me of a mate of mine who was going around claiming he had been bottled, after some knacker had thrown a plastic bottle, half full of what looked like milk, at him. 80523 "half-full of a milk like substance" and "jizz-fest" in the same sentence. I hope your "mate" got dry cleaned
19. This generations "Breville Pie-Magic" tbh
20. Although quite rightly, no-one gives a shit, I make it 22.
21. It took me 5 minutes to work out what this post was about. Then I rememberred that this thread started about Luque. Keegan scoring with his arse indeed.
22. according to the Times website, we have launched an appeal against Bowyers red card. Does this indicate he may not be off in transfer window? I assume there will be some cost incurred by the appeals process, solicitors or something? Why bother if he's off?
23. Sorry for being a pedant, but you can't exactly answer yes or no to that question, can you? Digressing, if that guarantee was in place, I'd still want us to win, and before you make any comment, that is nothing to do with wanting to keep Souness as manager - it's because come kick off time, the only thing I want is for us to come out of the game with 3 points, regardless of who is in charge. If by that comment you choose to believe that I am in some how in favour of Souness (I'm most certainly not!) then go ahead, believe that. The ultimate priority and what takes precedence over everything else is that this club wins games, NOT that Souness is replaced. 71716 I think that this is where the difference in peoples outlooks comes in. Some of us are motivated in the short term and see only the next results or the current season. Others are focussing on the longer term implications of a continuing decline. If there was a cast iron guarantee that the manager would change and a "proper" replacement appointed following 1, 2 or 3 bad results, it would be in the interest of the club for us to lose. unfortunately that guarantee can't appear and we would more likely than not appoint another stop gap manager on a 2-3 year contract leaving us with more bills to pay if we change. In my opinion we should retain Souness until the end of his contract as I still expect us to finish in reach of europe, but make sure we appoint the right person for next year. I would also begrudge paying out any form of compensation to the bloke for a job he's not done.
