Aye I think theyll abandon the test so all bets cancelled most likely. The bookies will be foaming after england were nearly bowled out every1 lumped on pakistan (other than the pakistand players who probably backed england and have collapsed on purpose)
  2. im getting chelsea stoke and wigan hmmm
  3. would i be right in thinking that your river is the one named after that iraqi centre forward who scored all them goals?
  4. must have been on trial at city but they seemed to think we were interested then http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Forum/viewt...8a7233c0e6a4c68
  5. i thought ranger and lua lua were the best players by far. dissapointed with vuckic. Ranger showed real desire and his hold up play/ball winning in the air was top notch Must admit found it frustrating that lua lua does the obafemi martins style of dribblind ie 3/4 pace rather than flat out at defenders

    Tiote

was just about to post that ^^^^ Newcastle United last night gave Cheick Tiote of FC Twente a medical after agreeing a £3.5m fee with his Dutch club. The 24-yearold defensive midfielder, capped eight times by the Ivory Coast, will require a work permit. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...l#ixzz0xBR3E600
  8. Loic remy under going a medical at Marseille now. Must be some activity this afternoon you would think if they want him in for sunday
  9. Marseille losing 3 nil against Valenciennes. Duno if thats good or bad for us. Could just pisse them off even more
  10. duno if its been posted but Marseille have failed in a bid to land Luis Fabiano as Sevilla demand a higher price for the Brazil striker. Fabiano has been heavily linked with a move away from Sevilla this summer and Marseille were thought to be leading the chase with just a few weeks remaining until the transfer deadline. However, Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has turned down an offer from the French club and hopes Fabiano will stay. "The offer is ridiculous," said Del Nido. "We have had a meeting and the French club know our price. "Personally I would like him to stay but the market is the market. "If something happens then we are working on an alternative for our attack." Reports suggest Sevilla are interested in signing Bryan Ruiz of FC Twente if Fabiano does depart. Seems like Marseille are a mess at the minute and that chairmen isnt covering himself in glory
  11. fucking annoys me reading 5 pages of garbage like . can we forget about them comments and get back on to the ben arfa transfer saga?
  12. Hatem Ben Arfa is trying to force through a move to Newcastle but his club Marseille are refusing to do business with the Tyneside club. The France international did not train at Marseille yesterday and still wants to join Newcastle on loan, despite other interest from Benfica, Hoffenheim and Genoa. Angry Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier said: `Hatem is part of the workforce and he will remain so. 'I do not think the coach (of Newcastle) is in-step with his leaders, if you believe his statements. 'It is quite strange. There is not a serious and solid offer from Newcastle.' Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...l#ixzz0wQplOUxw Seems like theyre talking behind hughtons back or hes just lying to the press everyday
  13. however MARSEILLE, France — French champions Marseille insisted on Thursday that midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa will not be signing for English Premier League side Newcastle. Ben Arfa missed training, fuelling speculation that the 23-year-old was on his way, but Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier said the player was staying. "The Newcastle offer does not exist. Hatem Ben Arfa is staying at Marseille," said Dassier. Seems odd that every1 including hughton is stating theres no offer
  14. get oooot thats just what we need to get the ball moving. Cant knock him for not being keen
  15. from what ive read theyre now selling niang to buy fabiano and are looking to keep him so looks like it could be off
  16. OH i see missed that bit , thought they had to have been associated with the club for 3 years pre 21 years of age my bad
  17. Infact we are struggling badly. We need 8 home grown players in the squad i can only think of 6. Clubs register a squad of up to 25 players, which must include at least eight 'home-grown' players, at the end of each transfer window. - Home-grown players do not have to be English; home-grown players are defined as those who "irrespective of nationality or age, have been affiliated to the FA or Welsh FA for a period of three seasons or 36 months prior to 21st birthday" 8 home grown???? Shola Krul Forster Steven Taylor Kadar Harper possibly?
  18. cant imagine well get him on loan as apparently hes got a cluase in his contract that means he can leave for £3m next summer
  19. Mirror and telegraph are reporting were tryinh to get him on loan and will be over there tomorrow
  20. Newcastle have blocked Celtic’s pursuit of keeper Steve Harper. Celtic stopper Artur Boruc has been lined up by Fiorentina in a deal worth £3million, removing the major hurdle for Harper’s switch to Parkhead. But Chris Hughton is adamant he won’t sell long-serving Harper, a key man in the dressing room, despite two top class, if inexperienced, young keepers in Frser Forster and Tim Krul waiting for a chance. MirrorFootball revealed Celtic’s move for Harper three weeks ago but getting rid of No1 Boruc and his wages were a problem. When the 30-year-old Pole moves on Celtic will be left with just two keepers Lukasz Zaluska and Dominic Cervi. But Geordie Harper is now likely to stay on Tyneside as Hughton insists on keeping key men from his promotion season together. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Trans...icle526057.html
  21. could be something in this. Brian Laws says he was hoping he'd have a new keeper (Fraser Forster) signed up by now but the other club are dragging their heels. Duno how paly Harper and Alan Thompson are, but that could have sumthing to do with it
