Yeah I'm sure those 2 0-0 draws with Bournemouth and Swansea will have Real Madrid knocking at the door.- 10610 replies

Aye. Just like earlier in the season against Arsenal.

Show has Rooney got MOTM in a 0-0 draw in which he missed a sitter and should have been sent off? BT sport have 4 commentators per game and not one talks sense.

Exactly. We all know Ashley is a prick and has fucked the club up massively, but he's not picking the team, he's not the one putting Dummett left back week after week, he's not the one playing our best player out of position, he's not the one playing 2 of the softest CM's in the Prem as our only 2 CM's, he's not the one setting teams out to defend first and attack second. It's Pardew all over again only McLaren is way less smarmy.

Exactly. It shouldn't be that we as a fan base are basically expecting to get beat off Everton at home now because of incompetence on and off the field. -

My point is that we shouldn't be expecting defeat against Everton at home with some of the players we have. However the tactics used had us expecting defeat. Thats the problem and McLaren hasn't addressed that, so when we do get beat, those reasons are going to be emphasized. We've won 2 out of 9 or 10 home games this season and that is embarrassing and they deserve pelters for that. -

I got sick of Pardew doing it and now I'm getting sick of McLaren doing it. Yes just persisting with the formation and its doing nothing for us, we look dogshit in CM and on the wings and he's done nothing to counter act it. If we line up like we did vs WBA then they will bully us all game. -

How McLaren doesnt see this is beyond me. Have Tiote sitting with Sissoko and Wijnaldum as CM's. Then have Thauvin and Perez on the wings with Mitrovic up top. -

The fact that as a fan now I look at the likes of Everton, Stoke, West Ham and Southampton as teams on the pitch we should strive to be. Clubs who will get players in and play them at their natural game and as clubs look to get better. We now just look to get by. which is pathetic. -

It's no longer the defeats that are bothering me now, it's the build up to them, the fact that we more than likely know we arent going to get anything from a game. The fact that we've only won 4 of our last 10 games and not once has McLaren addressed the glaring problems we have, especially when we've played teams we should be beating. Stop playing square pegs in round holes and stop persisting with it, that's what Pardew kept doing. Our centre midfield is an abomination, I cant remember one game this season in which i though Colback or Anita has had a good game but he keeps persisting with them. He's refusing to adapt to each game. It's shocking that Everton can come up here and get easy points, we're a pushover as a club and it shows no sign of changing. -

It's crap from McLaren though. We all said we'd get beat if he persisted with 4411 and that's what happened, he's hoping to keep fluking results. Anita and Colback are too soft and Wijnaldum (our best player) is stuck in an ineffective position infront of the most Centre back of a left back I've ever seen. -

We usually get beat or draw on boxing day don't we? Or have I just made that up? -

Expecting a defeat here. Not quite sure what to make of us at the minute and what sort of gameplans we have game to game. -

After a poor start Kevin Nolan turned into a good signing!
