We're still recovering from the transfer Windows after the season we finished 5th. The lack of signings from then on is still impacting on us now as we'd be nowhere near the bottom of the table if we'd have capitalized on those transfer Windows and being in European competition. we got left so far behind from then that we are struggling to even compete to get anywhere near there as we allowed other clubs to surpass us.

I wonder if Spurs are trying to get us to pay over the odds for Townsend so it can fund their own move for Berahino? But as Chez said I'd much rather Berahino over Townsend.

Even though they've been in good form i still think they are just average. If Ighalo or Deeney don't score then the rest of the team doesn't and they are there for the taking as they were poor last night.

He always seems to score when he starts which is good enough for me. Clearly doesn't fit in at West Brom seeing as that dinosaur Pulis plays Anichebe and Lambert ahead of him, even when bringing them on from the bench.

The only reason they were up there was due to Cabaye and Bolasie, now that ones been injured they've struggled as yet again he has no plan B.

He's been one of our players of the season so far. I'd have him over Krul when he comes back to fitness.

He reminds me a bit of Yaya Youre at times the way he seems to slow the game around him and controls the game. He doesn't look too quick when watching him but he always seems to speed past players and holds them off at ease. Definitely a special player.

Ashley Coles away to LA Galaxy now. I know he's a cock but I'd have had him here for 6 months. That's if he would have dragged himself away from from the money he'd be making.

Maybe not at the start on the left but as games went on it was blatantly obvious it was hindering our play thoroughout each and every game and we had no threat down the left. Thankfully McLaren has seemed to have realised that and will keep him in the middle!

Aye it was madness seeing him shifted out left offering nothing, earlier in the season, especially when he's probably one of the most naturally gifted players I've seen here in a while.

It just goes to show that when you play players in their natural positions, we are a good team. Hope this continues and I know Mitrovic get stuck for his finishing but I'd be more worried if he wasn't getting chances. The goals will come.
