Went to the gig at the O2 just before xmas and Wire made the point at the end that James had remembered the lyrics to all 38 songs which was an achievment. I love some of the classic Richey lyrics but at the same time a lot of them are (probably literally) a bit too mental. Wire's can be iffy but occasionally he comes up with gems - I find stuff like Let Robeson sing quite inspiring. Well yeah but they are his songs, not as if he was given random ones before the gig. I read an article somewhere about this, it's some situation where they can't afford to continue construction (due to their debts and paying for the rental/upkeep of their current ground) but the Government would hit them with fines etc if they stop building the ground so they employ a few builders to be on site daily and pretend they're working . It's actually funny how most people i've met who I get on with are Northern or International students, on the most part the Londoners seem to have some sort of superiority complex and remind me of American's in the way they view their own little world as the most important and haven't heard of most places up north (no offence to any Londoners on here like, like I said it's not all i've met but a strangely large amount). Most of the Londoners and Southerners seem to be the posh, rich ones too.

Appreciate we didn't get the center back but looking at us now compared to this time last year, we have 2 good strikers (obviously Cisse's not proven but we've spent 9 million so at least the ambition is there) and haven't sold anyone in January, also we've gotten rid of Smith for the rest of the season, absolutely delighted.
