  1. I've made the point before about his being, for a number of reasons, significantly less wealthy than when he took over. It still doesn't excuse a lot of the things he's done though. Weakens his hand when it comes to selling the club which should be good news for us I know what you mean but does he seem that logical to you though? In some ways no but he must have some savvy surely. I'm sure even he realises that the value of NUFC will only be heading in one direction

  3. If you deliberately set out to provoke people, you have to be prepared to take the backlash. If you then find the reaction not to your liking then tough shit. It's that simple No, it's simpler than that, if you're so insecure that you get riled by something you've already realised is designed purely to provoke you, then you're a mug and deserve derision. So if I knock up something about Hillsborough being entirely Liverpool's fans fault to wind them up and they react then they're mugs? It would be fair enough if his ineptitude as a journalist was being criticised. The racism doesn't really help our cause tbqfh. Like I said if you provoke people and don't like their reaction, tough shit, you've brought it on yourself

  6. Go on Stevie, pile in. I'm with you all the way
  7. Are you really that precious as to get upset that someone has lied to you? I couldn't give a toss if he told me the sky was Green and my hair was full and voluminous as long as he delivered success. Aye Wenger has control over signings, and I think that with someone other than Wise and Keegan that's what would have happened here. Keegan would still want the big money signings and wouldn't trust Wise' scouting system, Wise wouldn't want the big signings and would keep pushing his agenda. wrong personnel, but we'll never know what could have been now. I know you are the Fish but I didn't think you would be reeled in by the media with that one. Its yet another myth that gets associated with Newcastle that Keegan was all about glamour signings. Cole, Lee, Venison, Beresford, Sellars even the likes of Gillespie were hardly big names. How many did he actually sign in his time here? Shearer wasn't even down to him chasing him but Sir John Hall wanting him. Hoy in Bracewell, Albert, Peacock, Fox too
  8. You just know the media are going to blame the fans
  9. Terry Venables? Dave Bassett? Harry Redknapp? Roll out the barrel, we'll ave a barrel of fan......altogever naah Knees up mavva braaaaaan
  10. The first criteria for a new manager must be that he has to be able to get on with Wise. That narrows the field down to a very small list of candidates, disqualifying most of his own family I'd imagine
  11. Given Beye Colo Taylor Zog Geremi Butt Guthrie Owen Xisco Martins Team picks itself this weekend
  12. Managers saying "no way" are building up too now (5+ at least). Bound to be Poyet man. Working for his mate. A bad choice?
  13. Terry took it badly when Wise told him he'd been sacked
  14. It isn't going to happen. Never give up hope
  15. Some belting odds for the next manager including Allardyce at 33/1 with Ladbrokes, no wonder they say gambling is a mugs game Judging by that Elvis is probably at 25's
  16. Seems like the complete opposite Exactly. Probably total bollocks anyway like. Without any doubt
