  1. I'm surprised the club insider didn't let it slip
  2. On July 1st 2008, Jonás Gutiérrez unilaterally rescinded his contract with the Spanish side, after calling FIFA's Article 17, most commonly know as "Webster Law". As a result, the club is know demanding a 15 million euros compensation. Aye aye
  3. Bit like that clown who played for Fulham

  6. "Joey, you have 30 people who saw you twat him.....do you REALLY want to plead not guilty?" I don't think it was ever in doubt that he hit him but there was some talk of him being hit first following on from a bad tackle in training. Rumour I heard anyway. Off Gol I think so it was proabably bollocks Probably true but he allegedly kept hammering away at Dabo for ages
  7. http://www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk/displa....2369975.0..php Was £80k, then £40k and now down to £30,000-a-week. Transfer budget currently standing at 20 million. Ashley's selling up again too
  8. exactly. Then the usual swipe follows which completely contradicts yourself. Debt free business or Champions League football ? As I said before, it's not black and white, certain levels of manageable debt are fine, what we had when Ashley took over was not manageable. Well, the stadium debt was well structured and financed, all the experts have said this. If you are talking about cutting the wage bill, then cutting wages of current players is not the way to go, and neither is allowing the best players to go elsewhere for more money. Catch 22 , in the real world. Do you want Champions League football or not ? Clearly losing £1m every month was the right way to go
  9. Expectations - none Hope for top 10
  10. What was his reaction and what have you heard? I heard Modric was training up here for a couple of days and Ashley wouldn't pay the transfer fee (thought it was too much) and Keegan made the subsequent comments because he was pissed off with the way it was handled. Sounds like a Mackem rumour. That sort of craic's the reason I normally keep this sort of thing to PMs. Cheers for reminding me of that It's up to you whether you believe it or not. It was from a good source though and a few people on here know the occasional snippets I get are normally reliable. Ta for posting it, don't let others put you off

  17. Schweinsteiger's lass Jeeezus. He's barely hit puberty yet! Well the jammy get will be hitting that later, life's not fair
  18. That's got fuck all to do with it, they are the sort of FIRST TEAM PLAYERS we're going for What matters is what who we're able to put on the pitch next season. Of course but we can only target them and try to persuade them to come, they can't be forced. How things work out remains to be seen, actions speak louder than words and all that

  20. That is why we need a dual track policy with an emphasis on first team players IMO. As far as I know that's exactly what we've got I don't think you can say that until we start to see a few quality first teamers coming in. I can say that and I did Well what have you seen to indicate that we've got any sort of emphasis on the first team? Woodgate, Modric, Turan, Gomis, Dunne for starters
