Haven't you heard? We are deluded and fickle.
-
Actually, the disturbing flipside of that coin is that we've scored 17 and conceded 22. After 13 games last year (all under BS) we'd scored 19 and only conceded 21.
-
I like this stat too, we've only failed to score in one game all season. 8%. Last season we scored zero in 32% of games.

The miserablistas are out in force today like I can see it needs a patented Happy Face bright side post.... After dodgy results against Hull and Blackburn, we've now gone 4 games at home without being beaten. Barton has got Injured, but Owen is back scoring, a FAR more important player. Still only one win off eleventh place. Maintaining that would be our best finish in 3 years The reserves have won three and drawn one in four. We've got a great new song for our mannager - "Joe Kinnear, He's got tourettes (repeat to fade)"

Relegation in previous seasons has largely been hysteria, this season though we're not just under-performing, the entire club is set up to implode at the slightest provocation. The only two rays of hope for us are really that someone might come in before January and that a lot of other people are dropping points too. But a bad (or just non-existent) January and we could be in a a terminal nose dive that nothing can stop. I don't agree it's been hysteria, the end points tally tells its own story. A couple of reversals (iirc a year ago one reversal, a loss at Sheffield united) would have seen us down. That's ridiculous for a club of our standing and support. This year things do seem to be stacked against us, I agree though that a takeover in january could save us however. But this will inevitably require a new manager and signings (especially if Owen leaves). We've never been close, we've always been going to get points (like last season many on here were saying we'd not pick up 10 points out of 30 in the last few games, we got 18 or so, and almost finished in the top half). The difference this season is that it's not going to take lots and injuries and some serious bad playing/luck to do it. This season we seem to be structurally aiming at relegation. Also it is noticeable that a lot of the 'weaker' sides are putting together little runs of points. Apart from WBA, there doesn't seem to be anybody you can say will go down. We'll need to get 42 points. I'd say we need 10 wins from somewhere. You don't agree with the bookies that Stoke are odds on for the drop? http://www.oddschecker.com/football/englis...ship/relegation The way Stoke are set up, we're more likely to go down imo. Paul Ince at 7/1 on next manager to go looks mighty generous... I like how more than half the managers in the league are deemed safer than whoever the next Newcastle manager might be.

You can try all you want, but I have the power. About 11.

How unlike Fop to start an argument over the length of a piece of string by the way. Was Stalin more evil than Obama is black Fop? Or has he been whitewashed more than the true horror of WW1?

That looks great, I'll have to get it downloaded soon. Unfortunately this is going to be me mams christmas box though, and she doesn't have a wii, PS3, xBox, iPhone etc etc.

Were you in the corner yesterday KD? Some twat was grassing up the smokers. -
We could get cheap 30 year old foreigners past their prime but still good enough, like Hull (Geovanni did it again today I see). But we'll get cheap 18 year old foreigners with no prime whatsoever.

Bush might start doing better once out of office, but he's a pauper at the moment. Only worth $20M. Cheney can be a bit more brazen, so he's amassed $100M and Rumsfeld is about the same on $115M. Powell has $65M The less well known cronies like Paul H. O'Neill are worth more, he's on $253M. Mind, Condoleeza Rice is barely even a millionaire. Clinton left office IN DEBT.

Your Lowest Point Of Supporting Newcastle Ever??
Happy Face replied to Cheetzy's topic in Newcastle Forum
A search on "we'll shit" them shows my ridiculously blinkered optimism going into even the toughest games..... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...%2339%3Bll+shit Things are so low, I'm going to do something I've never done before though. I think we can only manage a draw at Chelsea. -
