  1. I wouldn't bother, it's possibly the worst film I've ever watched. Was going to say hated it from start to finish but I didn't quite make the end becuase after sitting through more than an hour of absolute boredom I switched it off before the end. It's all in the final shot.
  2. Defend it as I do, I don't think I've ever watched an opening night or a final.
  3. Would you not hear that if you still played leavergo? I don't know. Do kids even play that sort of thing any more? I think they do, but they stab each other in the knee caps rather than tig each other.
  4. Would you not hear that if you still played leavergo?
  5. Souness did a canny job for them though overall. Much as I dislike the bloke. Maybe, on balance, but that last season and a half casts a bad shadow.
  6. Of the 3 front runners, Shearer is probably the only one they'd have to sell the job too. If I was a Blackburn fan, he'd be the one I'd want most too (actually the only one). Kevin Gallacher was on five live this morning saying how Blackburn have a good record of appointments, especially looking at the last two managers. I suppose they got a handsome payoff for Souness.
  7. Coldplay - Viva La Vida or Death And His Friends It's definitley Coldplay.
  8. Well there are usually 8 women walking round in bikini's aren't there.
  9. Still talked about it though, right?
  10. Old Sima did have sadastic tendencies. I'm more of a legend these days tbh Is that someone who has sad ass tendencies?
  11. Yep, and here you are...talking about it. Honestly didn't think anyone would be that much of a dullard to say that.....ah well. Tell you what.... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=349663 Make your mind up once and for all and we'll let it drop eh. Is it only utter spackers watch it or not?

  13. Solano can come back, but only to play the trumpet and dance in and around the legs of Graeme Danby while he sings the Blaydon Races and waves his flag.
  14. I've never heard of any countries which have dropped the format yet. The general (and media) interest in the show seems to be much higher in Britain than elsewhere in Europe, e.g. Germany or Italy. I've only been to Germany once and it was all world cup hysteria so I can't say I know how much interest was shown in the past or presently. This is the UK though... The last series BB8 had the worst final week viewing figures ever, having lost two thirds from the peak numbers of BB3 (under 4M from a peak of 6M). Looking it up, Germany is different because it introduced a never-ending format that bored people a bit more than the set competition and did get cancelled apparently.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2004/mar/2...er.broadcasting But figures had dropped from a 6Million peak to 2.3Million so almost two thirds had switched off before that even got started. The old format returned though and the current German series is on air now. I think it's safe to say people are bored of it all over the world.
  15. One year one of the contestants had a hard time convincing the rest of the housemates the format was even based on a book.

  18. Saw them at Northumbria Uni a few months back. Fucking brilliant would be the most apt term. yeah seriously. i kind of liked their album before i saw them live at all tommorows parties (curated by explosions in the sky)... and know i can't get enough of their shit. live they are It's outstanding, honestly. David Kelly has mentioned it before, and if you don't trust me, you know you can trust his impeccable taste. This. My favourite album of 2007 by a not inconsiderable margin. Absoloute class. Saw them at Northumbria last year too. Best gig of the year for me.
  19. We used to play that game as well. Getting one stuck in the achilles was one of my most painful experiences. My brother shot me in the leg with a dart from his gat. He said he thought I was an intruder. Lying bastard. What a legend is Stu. Another lesson I learned was not to turn a plug off that you can't see. Some clever sod had taken off the pack plate and plugged in a lamp with the live wires exposed. I slid my arm around the door from the other side of the wall to find the switch but ended up with 240v coarsing through me. I don't know who did it, but it was either Stu or one of my parents.
