1. Work isn't enjoyable! That's why they PAY you to do it.
2. For those that haven't tried Curb Your Enthusiasm, if you find this funny, you'll like it..... Read other entries in Larry Davids Blog here
3. I just watched The Seder episode of Curb. I thought I was going to have a hernia when he got the bongos out. Sublime.
4. My favourite Seinfeld has to be 'The Hot Tub' though.
5. It's hilarious no matter when you watch it tbh. It's probably more risque NOW, given the unbelievably archaic limits placed on prime time US shows these days.
6. I've held off downloading series 4 and 5 of Curb Your Enthusiasm, as I want to get the DVD's when they're reasonably priced. Couldn't hold out any longer though. It's brilliant like. Went through series 4 and half of 5 in a couple of days.
7. Ooh I might get that too. I haven't seen Swingers. Is it any good? 181828 Aye. Funny how Favreau has been shit in everything since, and Vaughn has been quality.
8. It's unacceptable to have Wullie scorn me. http://www.asda-entertainment.co.uk/asda/5...displayName=DVD Even if it's shite, at that price i can't afford not to buy it.
9. All Quiet On The Western Front - Probably even better than Paths of Glory. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon. On The Waterfront - "It was you Charly, it was you!" Double Indemnity - Classy
10. Listen to yourself, you goon! You're right, like, I found the film offensive, but that's down to my taste. It did break new ground, mind you, Cat Woman broke new ground in that I didn't know if I was watching Halle Berry or CGI half the time, not sure that's a positive. 180607 Barry Norman wishes he could spout shite like that man. Can't agree on your other point though. CGI actors were used in loads of stuff from Dire Straits' Money for Nothing video to T2. Then there was Matrix Reloaded, Spiderman and Lord Of The Rings before Catwoman.
11. I guess I wouldn't because it didn't break the cinematic mould by creating a visual style never seen in cinema before, showing for the first time how digital film can enhance the viewing experience rather than get in the way, a la Star Wars. But I haven't seen it yet so I might be wrong.
12. Aye, there have been some great director actor partnerships, De Niro and Scorsese, Mifune and Kurosawa, Kinski and Herzog, Kubrick and Rossiter Barton Fink is excellent too.
13. 2001 is amazing. It could suffer the same as Clockwork Orange, being made earlier and set later but even though Leonard Rossiter is in it, it avoids 70's sitcomitis by being the most gorgeous film ever. The Shining is the only horror film that has scared me rigid. Barry Lyndon I thought was remarkable. Did you ever watch Dr Strangelove. You said you had it. One of the funniest films ever.
14. I cannot imagine anyone taking BB that seriously. I'll bet you're bitter because you voted her out and she's back. 180519 I don't take it seriously at all but when you're forced to watch something you can't stand to begin with having to see her as well just tips me over the edge. 180532 What do you mean "forced to watch"? Like Alex in Clockwork Orange? 180540 You'd better believe it. Worr lass is a real tyrant! Speaking of Clockwork Orange, what's your opinion of that? It's another one I found extremely overrated but then again I find that with most of Kubrick's films. 180546 I love Kubrick, but think it has aged more poorly than any of his other films. I don't know what I would have thought at the time, but watching it in the 90's it was like a bad 70's English sitcom.
15. I can't imagine I'd be friends with ANY of the BB contestants. I watch it to laugh at them, not with them. People can call Nikki ugly, but based on her looks come 2am, if I hadn't pulled (likely) I'd try it on with her.

18. I'm obviously taking the piss, but honestly it's you who needs to get a grip, vile human being that she is tbs tbs. 180510 I wouldn't let a no-mark like her wind me up so much tbh.
19. Aye, but HF said barmaids were generally required to show a bit of skin, not that in this warped fantasy universe they were. I'm referring to the BB tap water demon, Alex. 180497 You're right like, Idols only exists in my warped fantasy universe. Or Sam Jacks.
