  1. Oh and a nervous grin that I can't get rid of.
  2. I've bypassed that and am going for the old head in hand, rocking back and forth look.
  3. Saw it coming tbh, new manager effect and all that.
  4. I meant after January's spending. Don't forget that the Sissoko and Gouffran deals were brought forward.
  5. So 5 major signings? Asking a bit much I'm afraid, as much as I agree with you.
  6. No I think it's Gouffran behind Cisse.
  7. Chances of them making the Sunderland game?
  8. Krul; Simpson, S.Taylor, Yanga-Mbiwa, Santon; Marveaux, Sissoko, Cabaye ©, Gutierrez; Gouffran, Cisse edit; your man starts on the wing then CT. Happy now?
  9. Going to bury my head in the sand for a couple of hours around 3pm today.
  10. Really? Nice. Less nice if he's been rushed back, mind.
  11. It's a relegation six pointer tbh. A cup final, if you will.
  12. I'd pay to watch AH in a porn film. Wait, that came out wrong.
  13. I keep comparing this season to the relegation season. We were a mess then. I didn't really like most of our players, the managerial situation was a joke, there were issues behind the scenes, and I couldn't help but feel that the only positive out of getting relegated would be that it would allow us to start afresh. Things couldn't have worked out any better - we had a very enjoyable season, a loyal hard-working and solid squad, a very likable manager proved his worth, Ashley learned from it, we came straight back up, bought well and ended up back in Europe not long after. This season is a completely different scenario. There are no positives to be taken out of getting relegated. The club is not in a bad way. It is pretty stable. We have a very good squad of players, many of them internationals. On paper we are simply far too good to go down, and getting relegated would destroy this squad. Spending another season in the Championship is unthinkable and I can't believe we're fighting it again.
  14. Right, because you're an expert on football injuries.
  15. If we stay up, I imagine every element of the playing/management side of the club will be very heavily reviewed to make sure this never happens again. Playing staff, coaching staff, tactics, philosophies, policies, attitudes, medical issues etc etc. I doubt things will continue as they have been, with Llambias and Pardew putting it all down to bad luck and not spending in the summer. I can't see them replacing Pardew but I do hope they - I agree with Tooj wholeheartedly here - add to the coaching staff.
  16. Tom isn't that bad. I'll get my coat.
  17. Was going to give you credit for being persistent, but your last sentence sadly outed you as a WUM again.
