Paolo Di Canio Hounded out by the mackems
Monroe Transfer replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Are you sure they didn't mean 442? Read that he said that's his preferred formation. -
I said I'm in two minds about Pardew. Appreciative of what he has achieved, aware of things outside of his control (personally have criticised Ashley for not spending in the summer countless times), and understanding that there aren't a wealth of options out there who could replace him and likely do a better job. Certainly not the first to infer wanting Pardew out, many have said he'll not be going anywhere in the summer because of a lack of aforementioned options, and/or that he - rightly, perhaps - deserves next season and support in the summer (if we stay up) to prove his doubters wrong.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Monroe Transfer replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Right, because I was perfectly content before today's round of fixtures. Maybe I was just wasn't vocal enough beforehand. Mock me all you want but we're in the midst of a relegation battle and I don't understand why you're belittling me for not being happy with how things are?- 10610 replies

What's so wrong with that post? I know things have been worse and I should be glad I didn't support the club in the bad old days etc but it still doesn't take away from the fact that we've been so poor as of late. For the reasons Tooj has just shared.

Who is in the Pardew Out camp now? I'm still in two minds, leaning towards out as things stand but aware of what we did last season and the troubles we've had this one.- 10610 replies

We're pathetic. Fighting for the Champions League one season, fighting relegation with more or less the same team (plus a few improvements half way and minus Ba) the next.
-
Can't ever predict the result of the derby, wouldn't be surprised if we get no better than a point out of it. Level on points with the same mighty Villa who have been heavily criticised by all corners this season. Three above Wigan who have a game in hand and are third bottom. Joke.

We're going down.

Get in Swansea, We might be doing down.
-
Jesus wept. Yet another result not going our way in the Norwich game. Even if we win tomorrow we can't go above the mighty Norwich and Southampton as things stand. If we lose things could get even worse. We're going down.

Unlike you he's probably remembered last season.

Have had enough of what? Injuries?

Think I want a draw out of this match, although it's not heading that way. edit; actually I definitely want a draw, Southampton will be a whole 4 points above us before tomorrow if they win.
-
Hang on, new guy, don't assume that's the case.

Would have been worried about that if CT had said it came from a more credible source than the Mirror.

Marveaux isn't good enough for that.

Not sure what Osbourne was thinking.

The Road To Amsterdam ArenA (UEFA Europa League 2013) - THE END

Sums up our season that match. Generally not good enough, defensively sloppy, full of injuries, no luck, avoidable mistakes, referee decisions going against us, moments of quality etc... -

Trying not to think too much about NUFC at the moment - such are my nerves. Simply have to win the Fulham/Sunderland games. The latter especially, I can't see myself watching that match sober!

The Welfare State killed those kids, man.

Need a bit of help. Taking my till my mid 20s but I've decided I finally want to get into betting. Just for a bit of fun (I'm sure that's what they all say at first), theoretically it's something I should do well at as I'm knowledgeable about football and enjoy all forms of the sport, not just NUFC and the Premier League. So where's a good place to start? What are the best sites? General tips and advice please.
