It was amazing if you ask me. An absolute masterclass in direction, and perfectly acted. The last 10 minutes or so of this episode will live long in the memory. These are some thoughts I posted on another site about it:

"Cockney know-nowts" One took England to the brink of a major final, QPR into Europe, and won La Liga. The other has been successful at every club he's managed, taking the biggest into the top 4 on two occasions.

Fulham with no luck here, injury-wise.

LBT doesn't watch the matches, he admitted the other day that he sometimes forgets we're even playing.

Let's not face it, thanks. If such a thing happens so often, it's not luck. Sure, there might be an element of luck but it's more to do with taking chances when the other team didn't. We were "lucky" last season in terms of a relative lack of injuries/suspensions. To say we were lucky to have such form is unfair on the players and is an overly pessimistic point of view in my opinion.

What are you on about? Do I need a season ticket to complain about the club? If I started having a go at the fans or making out that I'm a better fan than anyone else on here then I'd be out of order, correct. No I don't spend as much money on the club as I'd like to, unfortunately I live on the other side of the country and work long hours. If I'm not happy with certain things (take my 'manager of the season' post with a pinch of salt, very heat of the moment stuff), then I'm sorry that offends you. I've said myself that we'll probably turn a corner soon enough. Never once called for the manager's head either. Faith in him will slowly erode over time if results/form were not to pick up, but I think they will. Plenty of mitigating circumstances, mixed in with his mistakes.

I have to ask - who is asking for his head?

Jesus wept. Calling Santon pish is laughable and the others either haven't had much of a chance yet (and aside from Marveaux who is only 26 himself, are young).

Why are you focusing on just this game, Toonpack? The others are clearly talking about the season as a whole.

They're all problems, fact is Williamson and Simpson shouldn't be near our starting 11. The former seems a nice guy so I feel a bit sorry for him, but the sooner the latter is out the door the better. Hope he enjoys being the centre of attention because of his pop star missus because he'll never be the centre of attention for being a decent footballer.

Yup, January will be massive for us. If there's anything to gain form from dodgy form, it's making weaknesses like ours obvious. We were lucky last season in terms of injuries and suspension, less so this time round.

And? Not that it needs pointing out, but I never said we'd be relegated. Just that I wouldn't be 100% comfortable till it was confirmed we were fine. Couldn't take anything for granted back then. The season we did go down I actually thought we'd be alright, especially after we played Middlesbrough and beat them. I was feeling good about our chances after that. Plenty of posters on here more negative than I am, LBT and CT for instance.
