And you didn't have your phone camera at the ready to record this? For shame.

Not the first time I've read someone on here by cynical about Ba. Is it because he's a greedy, selfish striker who wants to play in the centre? Think he's earned the right tbh. Will sticking him out left in the 433 from part of last season improve things? Maybe. Don't think it'll magically sort out our issues though, and we'd need Cisse to find some form because he's been woeful this season regardless of service.

Didn't one of the admins check Aeris and LBT's IP addresses and proved they're not one and the same?

Not fair. Can't agree with that I'm afraid Stevie. You can't fluke a 38 game season. You just can't do it. Did things go our way (other clubs' failings, not too many injuries etc)? Yes, but not enough to take away from any of the achievements last season. GD-wise; our 'problem' last season (amongst others) was that we never scored more than 3 in a league game, and that we lost a small number of games very heavily. I'd much rather win 1-0 throughout the season than have a mix of more losses peppered with the odd thrashing of a team. Our inability to kill games off last season, to go for the jugular, undoubtedly lost us some points. There were games where we were the better side, got the goals we needed in good time but never kept it up enough to score even more. It annoyed me, we were too cautious at times (at others we did try and scored third and fourth goals, but just couldn't). In fact as far as I know we've only scored more than 3 in a game and won it once under Pardew (against West Ham in his first season).

Pretty sure that is also Lansky next to Capone there.

Outstanding.

More than 12 games. Read his post.

Good to know Simpson's mind has been on the games - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4663707/tulisas-lover-and-rooney-hooker.html

Feeling genuinely awful for our fans that made the long trip down to Southampton for this. The staff and players should refund their tickets and travel tbh.

How is it silly? If Pardew goes, who will come in that'll be a drastic improvement? Remember - Ashley once appointed Joe Kinnear. Joe Kinnear. He'd probably still be at the club if his heart worked better.

Could have, but wasn't. Nice try though.

The first 'big name' player I'd want out of the door if we had to sell to buy.
-
Can we just ban this guy and put him out of his misery please?
-
Watching this and the F1 at the same time. Thankful for that, something to take my mind off us.

When has Marveaux ever done that?
-
Embarrassing. And that's me putting it kindly.

It's a fallacy that we only play long ball football anyway. We do try and mix it up, but we're not really any good at either.

Had a dream last night. Thankfully Newcastle stay out of my dreams for the most part, and yesterday was no different. Instead all I remember of this dream was Nile Ranger lobbing the keeper from about 40 yards out. Whist playing for England.

Fair enough. So is Norway really that dull?

Don't forget this interview he had the other day: http://www1.skysports.com/boxing/news/20876/8273378/Ricky-Hatton-will-quit-boxing-for-good-if-he-loses-against-Vyacheslav-Senchenko

Yup. I get the feeling he'd happily give up his millions immediately just to be able to rewind time back to a decade ago. Some fighters - and footballers, and all professional sports men and women really - give it up when their hearts are not in it any more but it's clear that how much passion Hatton still has for boxing and he couldn't let it go. He must have been an emotional wreck just to want the fight in the first place.
