  1. He won't be getting the job, will he? Someone put my mind at ease.
  2. Bet they had the NETD top dogs trophy already engraved to put in their barren trophy cabinet. One of the worst NUFC sides of all time and we still finished above them.
  3. Agreed - remember going to watch the Villa game sure of our survival. Won't make that mistake again.
  4. Going to be on public transport for the first half. Keeping my emotions to myself about the game might prove difficult. /
  5. I doubt he's getting any enjoyment out of seeing one of his investments/his Sports Direct free advertising vehicle nosediving into a lower league, and thus less exposure for his company. That's the closest I've ever come to saying something nice about him. Man is a CUNT
  6. Heaton and Vardy I'm all for players at smaller clubs getting some recognition but how are either of them international quality? Townsend hasn't done much for Spurs as of late either. That Mason is pretty average too.
  7. Which is why I'm livid with myself I didn't lay a few quid on us when the odds were so long. Remember I was predicting the worst well before it became popular.
  8. Is this way he was thrown off of N-O? Constantly submitting new threads?
  9. Can't wait till Sunday, just to get it out of the way. Looking forward to finally having some, er, finality. It's these days before the game where I'm playing it all out in my mind that wind me up.
  10. This standard of journalism on the Chronicle's sport pages, man...
  11. Don't mind the front tbh. The back is a joke as is the Wonga blue colour scheme.
  12. It's absolutely mental. Also Jonas over Anita. Didn't the latter get man of the match last week? Anita is nothing special but he's better than Jonas and Taylor who are there because of 'experience' and perhaps a little sentiment that we can ill afford. I'm 100% sure that we'd be safe by now if Abeid was playing ahead of Taylor. Taylor was very average before he had two career threatening injuries, never mind after...
  13. But we'll quite probably experience the same next season (and into the future), just in a lower league. I'd rather support a mediocre, unambitious midtable Premier League side than its Championship equivalent. Don't want to support someone like Blackburn, basically. Of course if relegation definitely meant removing Ashley and replacing him with someone decent, I'd take it all day long over surviving. Even if I feel there's a slight glimmer of hope that Ashley/Charnley would finally see the error of their ways and make some changes purely because they saw how close they we were to going down largely thanks to them.
  14. It's called a bet. A bet I wish I'd made when I was getting (somewhat understandably) getting stick for being so pessimistic a couple of months back.
