Ever since that short, sorry episode he's been even more tight with the £££ than he was before he tried to sell the club. They're not stupid, they know no-one likes them and the falling attendances are all the proof they need of this.

I just can't see why Shola deserves to come on ahead of Sammy. Sammy might not have the experience but he's got the better attitude and looks to have a bit of talent. At the very least he'll confuse and stretch defenders.

We played some cracking football today, Villa were chasing shadows for long spells. We were far from perfect today but the whole philosophy put forward by Pardew was massively different. I don't know what he was playing against QPR, maybe he underestimated them?
