Someone just pointed out that they've sold their best two strikers in the space of a year and done a pretty poor job of replacing them. I'll readily admit to being very jealous of them when they could boast about having both Bent and an on-form Gyan up front.

That should have read "potentially a better strikeforce". As the Korean guy and Wickham might not work out.

Not being funny but why is anyone complaining about "(why it took) so long for Pardew to gather himself together to explain himself"? Did you see many other club managers saying a great deal in the week after the window closed? There was no usual Thursday press conference because there was no match on the weekend. Things are always quiet during the international break, I don't see why it should be any different for NUFC. Don't hold it against Pardew at all.
