Don't see why our own deficiencies should prevent us from criticising others. I'd give your right arm to have Wenger and his track record at Newcastle. Maybe manure and chelsea can criticise him but its difficult for us when there's people on here who think pardew is doing a good job. And I can't stand wenger but he's light years ahead of anybody we've had since KK, And that includes SBR. Are you the sort of guy who thinks people shouldn't criticise bands unless they're in a platinum selling one themselves?

Absolutely no chance of Lakuka coming to the Toon. He'd be a lot of money for a teenager proven in an inferior league. We can't afford to be taking risks like that. Taarabt is coming up with QPR who have wealthier owners than we do. They wouldn't sell their best player.

More of a frustrating side to watch if you ask me. The pass and move philosophy is nice and everything but counts for little if the players in possession don't take chances when they arise. Wenger seems to be too stubborn and set in his ways to adapt to being a bit more direct and this is why they'll never finish above Man Utd (especially with the squads as they are now).

I'd like to aim higher than Upson, and we needn't waste time looking at keepers. Don't think Odemwingie is that great an idea either, given it's likely West Brom would stay up and would therefore want more cash (especially as we're one of their rivals, more or less) for a no more than decent player who would be the wrong side of 30 by the time next season begins. Sow and Gervinho sound good on paper but I've seen very little of them in action. They're the right age though, unlike Odemwingie. We need more than one striker whatever happens.
