  1. You're a right negative fella, you know? If you were handed a bag of money you'd complain it was too heavy. You get my point though, shirley? Only 5 wins at home all season, despite the goal tally.
  2. Routledge scores another. Tidy finish. Sheffield Utd need to win this really.
  3. Shame those goals don't equal wins.
  4. And yeah, I'm sorry but if you're a commercial partner of the club then I can understand why you wouldn't want what you're paying for to be covered by a banner, no matter what the cause is. I could also understand why said commercial partner could show a little sympathy by allowing it, and this is if there was nowhere for it go that didn't get in the way of anything.
  5. Pointless and uncalled for generalisation going on there. edit; You're seriously calling the ticket office staff scum for not going against someone who is more or less their employer? Are you on the wind-up? Do you think you'd be in a job for long if you started criticising your employer when talking to customers?
  6. Pretty sure you don't see this sort of thing happening in rugby. Either code, at any level. Fair enough if it's heat of the moment stuff but if the rugby players can do without it... That's another load of shite. I was watching the rugby in the pub on Friday and there was a ten man brawl kicking off with them all spouting off at each other. Not at the ref, and not at the camera. Touché.

  8. Certainly no celebrating from Pardew yet. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20110404/bo...2281670_2330641
  9. A decent pizza, can't go wrong with that tbh.

  11. What are you on about now, man? He gets away with a lot, as does his club. Most players don't do that sort of thing. Simple as that. He apologised so that should be the end of it. It's not that big a deal and I'm sure he'd get a small fine at worst.
  12. "What... what... fucking hell". Something like that.
  13. So he should. All he's doing is swearing. So fuck. Into the TV camera with thousands of kids watching. Deserves a ban imo. What do you do, stop kids from watching? Swearing has been part of the game as long as I've been going and it will be forever. How many times does the camera go on people like Harry Redknapp, and you see or hear a "faaakin heww..." he'd just scored a hattrick in 20 minutes he's a doilham but he's full of adrenaline, he didn't murder somebody. He did nothing wrong imo. Defending the indefensible there. There was simply no need for it. Swearing to yourself, to the officials, to your teammates is one thing. It's also not rarely going to be audible enough to be picked up by the media. Swearing at the camera for no reason whatsoever was just pointless, and yes stuff like that is going to negatively influence the younger generation of footballers. To be fair to Rooney he apologised immediately so the matter should be closed but I can't understand your "he did nothing wrong" stance.
  14. I thought they were destined for Europe?
  15. I thought this was their best season ever? Being above the Mags and all that? Oh wait...
  16. And yeah I'm inclined to agree with that. One more win and a draw should be enough. Any more is a bonus. Should be doable.
