  1. Stroke of master class by his club though, get his wages paid and get him back fit, ready to play first team football for them come the new season. I know he's shown very few signs of this ever being the case, but it would be just our luck if he goes back to Valencia and turns out to be a decent player after all of this.
  2. One of the most anonymous and pointless signings in history.
  3. Right - I better stop supporting the club then if what the OP says is right. My bad.
  4. Excuse the source... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle1849493.ece
  5. Nah, just reporting the same thing from Skunkers.
  6. Crystal Palace away in 97. 2-1 win. Tomasson and Ketsbaia goals. I remember the chant "Ketsbaia my lord, Ketsbaia" very well.
  7. As I posted on N-O... I'm sure writing a few letters and sending off the odd harshly-worded email to advertisers won't really lead to anything anyway, to be fair. They don't speak - or more importantly, act - on behalf of all NUFC fans. I know they want what is best for the club and I appreciate and respect that but I don't think they are going the right way about it. Oh and how exactly do they know that Ashley is not being quick enough to sell us? Are they privy to what is going on behind the scenes? I get the impression they'd be happy getting someone in now instead of waiting a bit longer and ending up with someone who is better for this football club. Just to get rid of Ashley. Their lack of logic is shocking and in all honesty they lack perspective, common sense, and realism.
  8. You're privy to exactly what they do/have done, are you? Not saying that don't deserve criticism, they're clearly a part of the problem.
  9. Please no. Oh, please no. I'll join all the major religions and pray like my life depended on it to keep that man away from this football club.
  10. Ooh shit, my bad. Totally missed the solicitor's statement bit at the end there. Sorry.
  11. Quotation marks. Means they have it on record. If there were no quotation marks it would have been looked on with scorn. Not always. I know what you're on about but I've seen quotes in the past of such nature be proved false.
  12. there is ALWAYS a smattering of truth in what the papers say. No there isn't. You just wish there was.
  13. You all believe what the tabloids say now, do you?
  14. It's Keegan, you're not allowed to speak negatively about him.
  15. Have you used any other MP3 player? I borrowed a mates Zen when I was visiting London so I had something to listen to while I was pootling around the city and she was at work. Perhaps it's bias, but I much preferred the iPod. Fair enough.
  16. Exactly. It's fuck all to do with you so keep your thoughts to yourself. Why are you acting as if I'm attacking you? In my opinion - I am allowed one on here right? - I'm on the side of getting behind the players, as they've done nothing wrong. Boycotting the match will send a clear message to the regime that people aren't happy so I can understand it in a way but on the other hand we've still got matches to win and cup competitions to progress in. It's not as if other actions won't already be taken outside of the game so I'm just not sure about the whole boycotting thing and I know I'm not the only one. But hey, I'm not going to it either so what fucking right have I got to have an opinion? Perhaps if you voiced your opinion in a slightly less sarcastic fashion people would listen to what you've got to say. But when you come on and give it the "Or just mayyyybe you could support your team??" routine when you're hundreds of miles from the ground every time they take to the pitch, don't expect anyone to roll out the red carpet and ask for more pearls of wisdom. Wasn't actually meant to sound sarcastic, but I can see why you and others took it that way.

  19. I can't afford to, no. Isn't really about me anyway.
  20. You could always go to the Spurs match, get behind the demoralised players, help them win the match and maybe even lead us eventually on to the trophy and a place in Europe...
  21. I'm really uncomfortable about this Man City business. For the good of the game, it just feels so wrong.
  22. They were saying "we want Robinho" weren't they?
