My point being I'd rather get someone like Remy over Bent. Someone who can play on the flanks etc. Gomis, Cisse and Bent would be/are on big wages no doubt and would want to play every week. I like the sound of Cisse, Gomis, Remy, Gouffran and Campbell being our strikeforce next season. Good ages, attributes, and offers a few options to Pardew should be able to harness them.
-
Yeah he does. In the Danish league. You were aware of this fact, right?
-
Oh dear. Anyway... local press saying we're back in for Bent? What would be he point if we brng in Gomis? We need players who can offer different options; Cisse, Gomis and Bent are too similar.
-
He's also 30 in a few months and is well known for being extremely selfish on the pitch. I don't think we can afford to have that sort of player up front. Cisse has his flaws but does his bit for the team if you ask me.

Any credible sources?

Anyone else want Llambias back?

We'll be fine as long as they and Arsenal under Wenger exist.

How rich? Give me a target here. -
I wouldn't for that sort of money. Cardiff playing a premium because he's English.

are you happier now than you were this time last year?

Where did you steal that from CT? -
Has he struck a plea deal in his rape case?

Looking forward to seeing how the new lads get on.

Wonder how much a loan fee for Remy would cost. Either awy that'd probably be the sum total of our expenditure this summer. Imagine that, flirting with relegation, letting a few players go and only getting a loan in (who will probably get sent down for rape). So ridiculous it's hard to believe it could well be the case.

About the same here. Content, but could do worse and could do better. Actually, what am I saying, I felt a lot better about NUFC this time last year. -
We've had a blank patch for years now sadly, think the last one to have full stripes was 06/07? And every year the fans complain, and every following year we get a patch. Encourages name/number sales I guess, as it just looks stupid without them.

Guess I'm not a grown man then. And tbh, fuck it, they're pretty comfortable and just something to throw on quickly before work when I'm not too bothered about how my clothes portray me.

Can wear what I like at my work (photography studio); would it be a fashion faux pas to wear a football top there?

Or the bid just isn't enough regardless of when it's made.

Well I think we were extraordinarily unlucky with injuries last season, which didn't help. But I agree. The thing about a lot of these young players is that a lot of them have at least got some first team (loan) experience. And by all accounts they've all done well. So basically most of that group are going to be significantly more reliable and ready than they were 12 months ago. We should, of course, have strengthened then and sent them out on loan at the start of last season. Not half way through it when we finally bought some players.

Would like to think the likes of Dummett and Good will prove their worth somewhat in the first team this coming season. Maybe Mbabu too.
