  1. Bit windy today like. Feeling supremely confident myself, just cannot see what is effectively the remnant of their already shit team beating us.
  2. I don't know if anyone reads this sort of thing, but an interview with Tim Krul here concerning the derby: http://www.guardian....stle-sunderland Also interesting to hear about his growing into the team etc. I quite like the Guardian interviews of players - they've done Cabaye and Saylor in the last year as well. It's good to get some deeper content.
  3. Mate you're lucky - I want to sleep but fucking can't cos I have work to do. I swear I'm too old for this studying nonsense. Knowing my luck I'll probably sleep straight through the game...
  4. I might've known it'd be something created by CT...
  5. A new variant on cheesy chips perhaps? Cheesy beans?
  6. I'm bored out of my skull due to having to complete two 4000 word essays for my course this weekend. Also, I have to go to sodding London for work tomorrow evening, so my entire weekend will have been spent working on reports or at work in London. Just felt like complaining about it.
  7. Yes, sadly it seems he may be quite the player as well. I didn't think it would lead to the 'psychological trauma' that Martinez was going on about. Although Carver shook him up a bit I'd wager. With that said, Milwall outdid themselves today and made me despise them more than Wigan. I've watched some of the scenes now - absolute bunch of tossers. In fairness it's probably not their usual fans but even still, it's often their club.
  8. Just noticed this myself. We could feasibly end up looking like we had a fairly poor season instead of a catastrophic one at this rate. I think Swansea are about as high as we could get though, doubt we'd get any further than that. Will be interested in Stoke's game tomorrow as well.
  9. That's not embarrassing, that's superb.
  10. Could be I guess. Wigan through anyway - and in Europe I guess. If Wigan win a trophy before we do I don't know what I'll do...
  11. Police have gone in and now being attacked. Helmet pulled off and thrown etc etc. Batons out. Guardian reporter at the match^
  12. The police have waded into it now from what's being said... really depressing actually. I'd imagine there'll be more after the game. Also makes me concerned for those anti-Thatcher protesters given that Milwall were in the news for saying they'd go for them.
  13. Milwall fans fighting with each other in the FA Cup - one has just been carried away by paramedics. This is why we have stereotypes.
  14. I've done the one about the bus - they're all very true though!
  15. -.- Why would you even write that song...
  16. I didn't see the whole thing so I'll take your word for it! Agree about McCarthy though, he had a blinder. Coutinho looks a bit overrated to me - a tricky player but he has no real sense for goal. Similar to the whole Liverpool team to be honest. I'm relatively pleased they didn't win, would have been fine with it had I not stupidly put money on them winning. (I also had a quid on Reading to sneak it 1-0 with Le Fondre scoring as a fall back).
  17. Bloody Liverpool, that was a pathetic showing. Although to be honest Reading were holding out for a draw, what was that about? They aren't down yet, they should at least keep trying.
  18. Good, that's Norwich back in their place. 2-1 Arsenal.
  19. Villa look like they'll be avoiding relegation. Also, if Liverpool don't beat Reading today then there's something pretty wrong over in Anfield. Especially since I've got money on them.
  20. I thought he was saying that out of pity personally. Although equally he might actually enjoy these games, you never know.
  21. Could be blustering from the Telegraph to keep protesters away I suppose.
  22. One thing I would agree with, we certainly don't go all out any more. I think that Southampton game was the first time we'd scored 4 since that legendary Arsenal game two years earlier. With that said, we've looked tighter at the back in general (Christmas period and WIlliamson aside) than I can ever remember us being.
