  1. Little Sammy leaves Bolton to rejoin Big Sam at Newcastle while Roeder gets the Bolton job!. next season Bolton finish well above Newcastle in the premiership
  2. December 2006, after Bolton 2 Newcastle 1: "In the circumstances you would have thought Bolton manager Sam Allardyce would have been magnanimous in his side's victory. You would have been wrong. "Allardyce's post-match comments that his controversial but so talented striker El Hadji Diouf had been physically abused by United were sheer piffle. "What do you expect from a man who took his eye off the Bolton ball and centred it on the England job - allowing United to sneak into European football last season? "In fact, there must be something wrong with Big Sam's mince pies. "I can remember young Paul Huntington getting in one bad tackle on the Senegalese striker, who then proceeded to roll over four times as though he had been watching too many movies. "This is the same Diouf who, along with Robbie Savage, is probably the most hated player among players and fans. "In contrast to Allardyce's inflammatory comments, I found it refreshing to talk to Gary Speed after the match. March 2006, after Newcastle 3 Bolton 1: Headline: Why Big Sam's not the man for Toon: In fact, it's a good job Alan Green, the Radio Five man who called Bolton's football ugly and fell out with Allardyce, wasn't at St James' Park on Saturday. Ugly? That was almost playing Bolton a compliment. It was joyless, brutal stuff, especially compared with some of the one-touch football United played at times.
  3. It's just his raw talent that's taking us to the dogs then is it? Glenn Roeder is not the sort of man to go to the dogs He's got plenty of time for brough park now!

  12. Think Blair might have had a word Sven "Jordie" Eriksson
  13. Before he took the England job on he was an excellent club manager.. It could only happen over here tho, that he gets slated and goes down in peoples estimation, all because he took the England job on with the shite available to him for the world cup etc
  14. I'd go for Sven as his club management has been good.Took the England job on and was gauranteed to get slated by the press later on. Big Sam is just the latest hyped up name by the media manager...i wouldnt have him here
  15. Shearer v Keane That would be interesting for top dog
  16. And let him teach the kids what he's been doing with the 1st team?
  17. Good on the fella if that's true. Not many managers would wave goodbye to a big fat cheque from a club keen to see the back of them. Yeh,he can walk tall with head held high and surround himself with happy people
  18. Says??? The voice of the nation .. Talksport Maybe he can put his resignation in and it won't affect the stock market carry on malarky
