  1. By adopting that stance you're giving your tacit approval to the status quo anyway.
  2. It's a combination of amusement and bemusement rather than anger but whatever. Supporting Corbyn in the first place was fine and he was certainly worth giving a chance under the circumstances and the lack of alternatives but continuing to support him is basically doing what he's doing, i.e. giving arguably the most ideological unpleasant government in living memory free reign. He's had his opportunity and all he's shown himself to be an abject failure as a potential PM. As for me, I don't have a lot of power to change things living in one of the safest seats in the country in a FPTP electoral system. I do wonder what your role will be once you and the student wankers who elected Corbyn get bored / grow up etc. You're fond of taking the piss out of the likes of Renton but, whether you like it or not, many long-term activists like him have been alienated. You'll probably expect them to pick up the pieces when Corbyn inevitably stands down just after or before the next GE. And do you seriously think what you've done, i.e. paid a small fee and but a cross in a box in any way compares to the contribution of people like that. Have a fucking word with yourself man
  3. He's making your point for you really. Not that I agree that is what is happening but, by his argument, If the bloke is so 'principled' that he's forfeiting the chance to affect actual change in people's lives just so he doesn't have to compromise then he's a monumental cunt.
  4. I might also add I think he's trying to get a win the next election with the poxy bits of policy him and his fucking shite advisors come up with as opposed to 'chucking' it because principles are more important than winning
  5. I meant People who became members to elect Corbyn as leader. In retrospect I probably owe lots of them an apology
  6. that last tweet absolutely nails it. For far too many people religion is just a justification for being a bigot
  7. His policies barely matter because he's such a shit leader.the idea he could walk a GE even against this fucking joke of a government is so laughable I feel like I've wasted a bit of my life even replying even though I'm having a dump. I suspect your position is borne out of kidding yourself you and your ilk aren't at least partly responsible for giving the Tories free reign for the next decade or so
  8. It would be hilarious if he ended up here
  9. KK tried him in CM just before (pre-season) he was sold against his wishes iirc.
  10. Had a look on wiki and both are true. Still, he certainly doesn't have that seering pace off the mark, so to speak. I suppose a bit like how, even when he was a bit over the hill, Sol Campbell was as quick as anyone at Arsenal when they did the tests over 100m. Doesn't mean he'd beat Walcott or Henry over 30 yards.
  11. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere he was a cross-country champion rather than a sprinter as a kid, which woud certainly make more sense.
  12. That outfit ffs Mind, it's perferable to that cocktail dress she wore that time.
  13. Also, why doesn't he get a suit that fucking fits him? Is he trying to kid himself he's got a 44" chest or something?
  14. Scored an own goal then was subbed at 3-1 down and I think they then managed to get a draw. That was for the reserve team as well iirc. Meant to have just signed for Ipswich.
  15. I find this description particularly amusing when set against a backdrop of Steven Taylor not being able to cut it over there.
  16. Saw something the other day about how it looks like a toilet seat / lid. From certain angles it does as well
  17. Aye, they'll be getting quoted outrageous figures
  18. Unless she's like Edward Mordrake.
  19. The prospect of those two shagging is about as appealing as when the then ancient Frank Sinatra was meant to be banging Nancy Reagan
  20. Used to live two doors down from Nick Brown. Anyway, I reckon this is the opportunity the PLP has been waiting for.
  21. That just about sums up the bloke. Talk about insecure. His knob must be tiny.
