Surely by voting, or at least pretending, to vote Labour in a general election in a safe Labour seat, CT has demonstrated how much he cares. What have you lot done? Fucking snowflakes

Aye, the fucking depressing thing is Corbyn's response to this has been to blame the EU for the downturn in UK manufacturing over the past 40 years. Like he's going to wave a magical wand and change that, quite apart from it not being the fault of the EU. And his looking like he couldn't beat the current shower of shit anyway. If there was a general election tomorrow (and I can hardly believe I'm thinking this) I'm not sure I'd want him to.

I'll be honest and say I don't know enough about any of these players but there's definitely been a false economy to a lot of our recent 'bargains', especially in the striking department. And whether you're fans of them or not the two we've spent reasonable money on (i.e. Gayle and Mitrovic) are worth at least what we paid for them. -

It’s lush up there, have a nice time. But honestly 150 miles per day is more akin to driving to London from Newcastle every day on motorways. Not trying to be a know all or to put a dampener on it, just trying to offer up advice as I’ve driven up there a fair bit

The distances are fucking massive up there because of the actual distances and the roads. If it’s only 4 days I would limit it and concentrate on where you really fancy otherwise it’ll be totally trashing. To put it in perspective you’d barely scratch the surface of Skye in that time. An itinerary like yours is literally getting out for five minutes and back on the road. Yours to Ft William in a camper van is probably 7-8 hours driving

Showing his true colours tbh. Fucking idiot. If you want to migrate back to a more manufacturing based economy the best option (i.e. only) would be to do it very gradually, starting with education and more vocational courses. Even then though it's still debateable as to whether you can just create jobs on the back of that intention. I don't mind the idea of it but the inferred blaming of the EU (Germany and the Netherlands don't seem too hamstrung by it) is just awful, popularist drivel. We'd be much better off being in the EU (at least in all but appearance) from the point of view that trade of those theorectical manufactured goods would be easier and also because it would be a fucking damn sight easier to fund the required education without the car crash of leaving the EU without a workable deal. Who the fuck does he think will plug the short-term skills shortages anyway?
