  1. me neither but if you listened to Ashworth’s patter when he first joined he made it sound like he was head of the civil service and scouting was just one department he oversaw
  2. fair enough Glad to hear you’re not one of the goons on Twitter who were glad Ashworth is leaving because he oversaw the Tonali signing. There are plenty of knackers who seem to think transfers are all a dof does
  3. The modern dof is a lot more than a chief scout
  4. 100% loads of mitigation absolutely the wrong time to push the panic button the supporters in the stadium still back him. Plenty of “Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall” chants in the away end today. It’s only the dipshits on Twitter losing faith in Eddie we trust.
  5. I predict a spirit-crushing, season-ending defeat. Back again Gloom is back Tell your friends
  6. possibly my loyalty points? i must have bought more than a dozen tickets in that end over the years. bit weird - perhaps they're trying to shed the reputation of it being the neutral end (an extension of the away support, in other words)
  7. just got a couple of tickets near the away end in the old "neutral section". there weren't many left.
  8. Longer life, of course, is part of the picture but so is the toxic air we breathe, the micro plastics we ingest every day, the myriad chemicals in our diet and the environment around us. None of which depend on lifestyle choices, other than organic food.
  9. cheers lads. it's a brutal illness and i'm sure future generations will look back at the way we treat it today as barbaric, but it's all we've got for now. there's a 50-50 chance we're all going to get it at some stage because of all the chemicals we're exposed to throughout our lives. not something to loo forward to and horrible to see it affect those you love
  10. haven't tried yet. thanks for reminding me to do so!
  11. forgot to set his alarm for his 4am start. never known a man to get less sleep
  12. My mother in law has a form of blood cancer and is in hospital recovering from a stem cell transplant. it's fucking brutal man. solidarity to anyone who has had cancer in the family, which I expect is most of you given how prevalent it is today. the disease and the treatment options are absolutely savage. it's horrible seeing her suffer while not knowing if she's going to recover or not.
  13. Nice one mate! Enjoy this magic time with your new bundle of joy
  14. if we do end up appointing the special one, it's safe to say things will have gone tits up
