In Germany tickets are something like €20, and season tickets are fantastically priced for fans, who are all working class, and pretty much every seat in German grounds are taken by season ticket holders. Contrast that to the prices of a season ticket in the Platinum Club.

People need to be as positive towards the team as possible, me and everyone else included. SJP is as negative as it is anyway and it needs to improve.

Fair enough tbh. I don't want to criticize him too much because from the Swansea home game last season onwards he has been outstanding up until QPR where he has dropped a couple of clangers since, and has probably won just as much if not more points than he's cost us this season. But on Saturday I'm not sure what happened, if he shouted for it to be cleared or if it was his ball then it's Dummett who had the nightmare but he didn't have to go off his line in the first place.

It was a fantastic recovery he deserved credit from, but I still feel that a better team, say a Derby, a Brighton or a Huddersfield would've punished us for that and that's what is disconcerting.

You're forgetting the clanger vs Rotherham where any decent team would've scored from. But I think he's won as many points for us as much as he has lost. Think some are being harsh but some criticism is warranted.

Reading really weren't very good on Saturday vs them. Neither were Burton, their home game before them.

It's not just us it's modern football in general, everything is just so sanitised and again it's not just us. Liverpool are probably a decent comparison, they have the Kop who have the main/only singers in and that whole stand gets going when they're playing well, we have the Strawberry Corner/Gallowgate but the rest of the ground, such as the Milburn here and the new main stand at Anfield which are both pretty much mostly corporates and day trippers. I've hardly seen a decent atmosphere at SJP.

Oi oi, back again. I thought that in the first half we were absolutely vile, a genocide of a performance. Good to see us coming back after going behind first for change but us being utter wank in the first half at home really needs to stop; it's happened on Saturday, vs QPR and vs Wolves and Huddersfield for the entire game. Blackburn though I thought we created enough to win, just like we did in the second half yesterday. I've seen our fans bedwetting regarding us and our promotion push (some may be on here, haven't read through the thread) but we're 5pts clear of 3rd, effectively 6 with our goal difference with still Huddersfield to play away, and away from home we're far superior than at home. It's going to be one unpretty slog until the end of the season, and if some aren't up for it, like the mongs who booed at half time, then find another hobby.
