  1. Statement from Lee Charnley: "Tonight we are devastated at our relegation from the Premier League, as I know every single person connected to this football club will be. "I want to thank all of the fans for the support you have shown for the club you love throughout the season, in spite of this massive disappointment and under-achievement. "Your support throughout has been magnificent, but I want to pay particular thanks for the incredible backing you have given to Rafa and the team during the latter part of the season. Nothing more could be asked of you and I am truly sorry we have not given you the outcome you deserve. "I also want to thank every single member of staff here. This club is their livelihood, but they are fans too. To go through the threat of relegation last season and then to suffer a worse fate this time around has been very hard for them. I know that each and every one of them has done whatever they could to help us out of the situation we now find ourselves in. "We know that supporters want to know what the future holds and will want to hear more from us as soon as possible. The process of scrutinising what went wrong and planning for what is to come has already begun. Right now, of course, Rafa and the team must prepare for the final game of the season but after that, please rest assured we will communicate more fully with supporters."
  2. Going to be some right cunts are on here later, hopefully whoever the mods are will ban them

  4. Don't say that man, young lad like you doesn't want to miss out on a tight 1 nill win away at Rotherham
  5. I don't think Rafa will stay tbh, hopefully he does but I just don't think so. Shall have to wait and see with Mbemba I guess Aye Charnley then, but Carr's on the board and they obviously hold his opinion in high esteem.
  6. It's nothing short of suicidal tbh. At times last year our back four was Colback- Willo - Janmaat - Jonas Graham Carr has been in the job for over 5 years, he must know that Colo, Dummett and Haidara are all injury prone When we went down last time we had depth in defence in case of injuries, the worst part is when we go down this time I don't think he'll well go out and buy the sufficient players we need In February next year we'll be playing some shit winger at left back cos Dummett and Haidara are crocked Useless bastards
  7. Well Taylor won't be offered a new contract so he'll be gone and I doubt we can keep Mbemba which means we only have Colo and Lascellas on the books next year Defensively we have to get it right next year, we have a lot more games. The board need to realise that we will get injuries/suspensions and that depth is very important At no point in our 'promotion race' should we have a makeshift back four
  8. The glory days! I'll be telling be grandkids about it
  9. Got a feeling that after Wednesday night Everton could be even higher on that list
  10. Cisse, Tiote,Mbemba, Janmaat, Krul Townsend, De Jong will all leave imo
  11. Can't imagine what those families have had to go through for 27 years. He played a big part in the 2010 Hillsborough panel that led to the truth What I found moving was the word that was used by the fans that was their that day 'exonerated', that not only had they had to experience the disaster and seeing people dieing but it's taken them 27 years to clear there own name
  12. I'll still be going next year, whoever is in charge I'm a right idiot
  13. It was shown on BBC last night I just presumed it was a BBC doc tbh so I could be wrong. First time I've seen it mind
