I think the best result was to get maximum points and this goes for every game we have left this season and beyond. The better we do, the better the finances and the best chance to continue to improve. Staying up wouldn't be groundhog day when we've been relegated twice under Ashley. It would be continuing improving the squad and finances. With the amount of TV revenue that clubs get in the Premier League, it's important we stay here rather than another club taking our place. It would make it more difficult to get back, but Ashley has proved that he's prepared to spend bigger than other clubs to get back in the Championship, so relegation would be pretty pointless. We've gone backwards under Ashley because he's employed the wrong people who have wasted money on flops or injury prone players. If we can Keep Rafa or get a half decent manager, we'll be a consistently top Premier League team. It would be easier with the support of the fans. Or we could just do stupid protests and make ourselves look stupid for no reason on TV. One of the two.

Not sure Ritchie would agree with the unselfishness of Almiron. A simple pass to a team mate who was in a much better position should have been the choice to take. Undoubtedly a top premiership player, but it's frustrating when our players don't do this. Fair enough when the game is done, but it would make games a lot easier if there was a bit less selfishness on the pitch.
