  1. Howe has said that Bruno has a slight injury, and hopes he'll only be out for a couple of games. Not sure if that includes today's game or not, but here's hoping.
  2. Didn't realise Neves was such a delusional, poor loser, even though it was a draw, gimp. Fuck that guy. I hope we never make a bid for him regardless of how good he is on the pitch. I wonder if he'll change his mind when he sees the match stats, probably not.
  3. Botman clearly starting to settle now. He's looked a bit shaky at times, but he was imperious today.
  4. I reckon we'll likely try to get a loan in at least to cover for Trippier with Krafth out long term, and definitely try to get a defensive mid and another attacking player.
  5. Trippier likely thought it was too close for him to get it up and other, so left it to a power shot from Schar.
  6. We deserved at least the draw, and that's what I thought it would be given our injuries and Wolves' general inability to score, but two worldies have resulted in the score draw as opposed to the 0-0 I was expecting. Injuries are mounting, but at least we have Isak to come in, Trips doesn't appear to be injured after initial worries, and we'll likely have another one or two players through the door before the window closes Thursday. Delighted to keep the unbeaten run going, again, given the circumstances.
  7. Fuck me, I knew Podence was short, but I didn't realise he was a literal little person.
  8. People talk about us needing a right winger, and we do, but another quality midfielder is far more pressing in my view.
  9. You don't fucking half stroll out to Neves when he's over a shot. Fucking shite from Willock.
  10. Poor pass out from Burn there. What's the logic of flighting a ball out to Almiron so he has to contest a header.
  11. Longstaff has the concentration levels of a seven year old on a tablet.
  12. 😂 That's horrifyingly specific. I'll take it under advisement.
  13. I wouldn't know, I've never had erection problems 😉👍
  14. I can take or leave Guinness myself, although it does taste a lot better in a good Irish pub as opposed to a British bar where they just sling it out and pour it badly. A bad pint of Guinness is rotten. But you're of course free to drink warm gobblers knob or whatever it is you call beer/ale over there, I will take no offence 😉👍
  15. Mitrovic might always be one of those players who's amazing in smaller teams because they'll build their side around him and play to his strengths, but whether he's good enough for the bigger clubs to make such accommodations is open to debate. If he scores 15, 20 goals this season it will be interesting to see what the conversation will be around him come the end of the season. There are of course teams who are looking for a 9 such as Chelsea, and if they get Aubameyang he'd only be a short term fix given his age.
  16. Put down the stella mate, your head will thank you in the morning.
  17. Ashley would have done something as stupid as mess about a player just to satisfy his own ego.
  18. Whatever Ashworth thinks his value is and is willing to take for him. Not once did I say that we should just let Man U have him for less than he's worth.
  19. 😂 You need to find better things to get this animated about.
  20. Literally never said that. I made it clear that we shouldn't just accept whatever they were offering.
  21. This coming from the genius who thinks that not allowing a player to leave, a player who we've replaced, merely to one up another club, is a smart thing to do and won't have any harmful consequences for us as a club. Are Man U still going to be living inside your head rent free when we're routinely finishing above them year in year out?
  22. It has nothing to do with buying Man U players, it has to do with building a good reputation in the football world, and not harming the team spirit we've built up in the squad since Howe has arrived. Dubravka is probably well liked in the dressing room, and if we used one player as a pawn it could make other players paranoid about their position going forward.
  23. To be clear I'm not saying we should just accept whatever terms Man U put forward, I'm saying that using a player to get one up on an opposition team would likely hurt us as much if not more than Man U.
  24. I honestly can't tell if you're being serious or not. But the point is, again, that using a player like Dubravka, who's been a good servant for us these past few seasons, as a pawn in some petty game would be monumentally stupid on our part. We're trying to build a reputation as a good place for players to come to.
  25. The club will likely only be thinking of being fair to the player. If the club fucks Dubravka about over his apparent dream move, when it's clear we've replaced him with Pope, it would look pretty bad to the squad. No need to be as petty as Man U, and cut our noses off to spite our faces. Plus they're under a new manager now, and Ten Hag seems like a decent enough guy.
