Why is he a piece of shit? I seem to recall him being a bit of a diver last season. Mind you even going to the effort of diving was more than most of his teammates could manage.

Arnaut Danjuma Could Join Premier League Club Within Hours, Newcastle Or West Ham Likeliest (insidefutbol.com) ? Or were you just joking and predicting that Everton will get relegated?

Casey claims Newcastle will pay anything to sign 23 y/o | thisisfutbol.com 😂 Casey giving himself plausible deniability on Scamacca. He's the equivalent of a crank spirit medium cold reading pensioners in order to steal money off them.

Tottenham, Leeds & Newcastle among Premier League clubs monitoring Noni Madueke (90min.com) I know Bailey isn't well thought of on here, but if memory serves he was one of the first people to break Ekitike interest in January. Madueke seems like a cheaper alternative to Diaby, and having never really seen either play I'm going to say that Madueke is clearly a better option than Thorgan Hazard 😂 In all seriousness though Hazard is pushing 30 and this guy is 21, so the difference in potential is obvious.

Been said before I'm sure, but when you consider the contacts that Ashworth has from the all the England national team age groups from his time in charge of development, it's incredibly exciting to think of the youth set up he's going to create.

Newcastle United tracking explosive Southampton forward Tyler Dibling | Shields Gazette The Gazette have picked the story up, but perhaps there are just going by what Football Insider has reported from that youth football expert.
-
Yep, the video of his hattrick is in the link. Of course it could just be people adding two and two and getting five given he's Southampton's hottest prospect, and we're supposedly offering 6500 grand a week to a someone who's only 16. And that's assuming that the story about us being after a Southampton youth player is even true.

The Magic Roundabout and Top Cat references 😂 How old is everyone on here. That being said I got both references straight away and I'm about a year off forty.

Newcastle set to sign Southampton talent “in the coming days” - Report | NUFC blog – Newcastle United blog – NUFC Fixtures, News and Forum. We're apparently going to sign a 16 year old Southampton youth player and put him on 6500 grand a week, so he's obviously a rising star for them. The speculation is that it's a kid called Tyler Dibling who's an attacking mid who can also play down either flank. Could be bollocks, but who knows. I'd be more liable to believe in youth team news than senior squad rumours, given there's less money in the clicks for made up nonsense.

It originally comes from a Belgian publication seeing as he was on loan to Anderlecht last season, but yeah who knows. He looks like the profile we're going for, so it's a decent guess if nothing else. He had 18 goals and 13 assists last season, so impressive but the question always is if a player can replicate those numbers they managed in a weaker league like the Belgian one in the PL. His loan from Bayern to Anderlecht finishes tomorrow, so we might see some movement then if there's anything in this.

PSG agree personal terms in principle with Milan Škriniar, Gianluca Scamacca and Renato Sanches – Get French Football News (getfootballnewsfrance.com) PSG have supposedly agreed personal terms with Scamacca, so that could be one off the list of back ups to Ekitike, at least potentially.
-
Weren't they just waiting for Howe to come back from holiday? Although that seems a bit harsh on Pope given he wasn't given the same consideration.
-
Ekitike is still only 20 and is obviously being badly advised, but I'd make him sacking his agent a condition of us coming back in for him. Nothing worse than a wannabe hanger on agent who only cares about milking as much money from his client as possible. Parasite it too kind a word for those types.

He'll be gorging on Toblerone and driving to Dundee in his bare feet any minute now.
-
😂 Fucking hell, he's had a mini breakdown.

Newcastle have €35m bid rejected by Porto on Monday night - Report | NUFC blog – Newcastle United blog – NUFC Fixtures, News and Forum. He only has one season in Europe, so Ashworth would really be trying to steal a march on everyone else in the major leagues with this, if we really are after this kid. It seems pretty risky to spend that sort of money on someone so relatively unknown, but then again Ashworth did want to buy Nunez for 20m before he went to Benfica, so his judgement should be respected. I think it has been said before that teams rarely buy South Americans after they pass 25 because they find it too difficult to adapt to European football otherwise. This kid was right on the border, so we'll see. Obviously Porto saw something that convinced them it was risk worth taking, and he did, if somewhat modestly, reward them with 6 goals and 6 assists across all competitions last season. He did only play 28 league games though. In any case I've see a few articles about this kid recently in relation to us, so there could be some legs in it.

DCL is the most proven obviously, but they all seem pretty tricky to pull off in their own ways. Everton will be looking for megabucks, Broja will also likely be overpriced, especially seeing as Chelsea are already down Lukaku, I think I'm right in saying that the owner of Sociedad has said Isak is off limits, but perhaps that's a different player I'm thinking of, and Scamacca would probably prefer to go to one of the big Italian teams as young Italians are wont to do.
-
I can almost guarantee that Leeds will be asking for more than Harrison is worth. If they sell Raphina for even close to what they are asking they likely won't desperately need to sell him, so in fairness to them why would they make it easy for other clubs. Harrison is proven in the PL, but we'd likely get better value from a player from abroad, or even for Sarr whom Watford are supposedly willing to let go for a reasonable fee.
-
As much as I'd like to see us buy Raphina the odds are really stacked against us with Chelsea and Spurs both after him, Arsenal wouldn't be as much of a problem, but they are still a London club. Also as far as I'm aware his dream is to play for Barca, but I'd imagine his transfer fee is currently out of their price range.
-
Looks like we're done with Ekitike unless he realizes his agent is a tit. He can have fun sitting on PSG's bench I suppose.
-
Well I think given how versatile and intelligent he is he could give us two or three seasons of quality, regardless of his age, for comparitivly little money, at least in transfer fee. He might ask for ridiculous wages, and in that case he can jog on of course, again assuming we're even interested.
-
Who gives a fuck. We were owned by Mike Ashley and managed by Steve McClaren. If I were him at the time, as in wasn't born in Newcastle or supported the team growing up, I'd have wiped my ass on the locker room towels on the way out and not felt the slightest bit guilty.

Transfer News: Newcastle United favourites to sign Georginio Wijnaldum (thehardtackle.com) Favourite's for Wini apparently. I think I'd rather Eriksen if it was a straight choice, but then again could you imagine a midfield three of Bruno, Eriksen and Wijnaldum 😲 If we could get Wini at a decent price, which we likely would off PSG given his age, and Eriksen for free it should be a no brainer. It would be a bit harsh of Joelinton, but fuck it. Of course this could easily just be that publication adding two and two and getting five. If I'm a fraudulent "ITK" type, then I'd be looking at Wijnaldum's future and making assumptions based on the fact the he's supposed to be leaving France, and only a certain amount of teams will be after him given he'll want to be starting every week and he'll be on big wages. Step in us being a fairly obvious candidate, even if it's all bollocks, given our wealth and Wijnaldum's past association with us.

Romano agrees with Wyki that Spuds aren't interested in Eriksen. If it's between Brentford, he's supposedly turned down Man U, and a few other unnamed clubs, we're still in with a very decent shout if indeed he is a priority.
