  1. What I do not get about this story is. 1) If it is made up (I know, I know) why would you want to create a story that your daughter married a 'scruffy', 'minging' person? 2) If it is true (I know, I know) why would you say that your daughter married a 'scruffy', 'minging' person'. In both scenarios it makes you question, does this make his daughter only able to attract such people? Poor woman. I cannot believe that I think this, but, the only way this can be an alright story is if he didn’t have a daughter. My brother is married to a Mackem. She is a lovely woman. Her family are nice people. If anything, I find my brother harder work than them đŸ¤£
  2. Was it due to him being out with a head injury? I cannot believe that anyone could give him grief.
  3. I love the fact that there are loads of comments like this on there. Why would they be bothered we beat PSG? They were not even in the Premier League at the time, let alone the Champions League. There were about 4 of us saying how Sunderland have actually done alright to be 2nd in the table after their 9th game. We were also pleased to see that Chelsea had dropped 3 points. It is starting to feel like the late 90s when the Boro fans were trying to fabricate a derby feeling.
  4. The Louvrepool comment still makes me chuckle. Slot is a fraud. Don't care if it was not their starting line up. Crystal Palace lost most of their key players and they unsettled Guehi.
  5. Imagine playing for 70 mins and then having a fresh Osula and Joelinton?
  6. It might seem stupid to say but, why does it feel different when it is a cup game? Both 11 are easily a believable starting 11 in the league, watching it, it just feels so different to a Premier League game.
  7. I love that man. I don't care what @waltermagic says, he is a handsome beast đŸ¤£
  8. I didn't get that vibe from anyone. I had the vibe that we were signing a player who couldn't get a game for his current team. Might strengthen the squad but we needed 1st team players even more than a squad.
  9. Not bad for a player we are playing to death, out of position, wrong side of 30, for a player noone was that impressed that we had signed.
  10. I work with a lot of Sunderland fans and I have experienced the same from a few of them. Most are level-headed but there are a few waiting for me to have a go at them. Because of the transfer window, I know that they have signed a few players who will be going to AFCON but I have not got the foggiest if they play in the starting 11 or even make the bench. I don't care where we are in the table currently. Having Howe, is like when we had Bobby Robson, don't really care how we start a season as they always manage to do well with us.
  11. Does toonraider2 support Sunderland? I cannot get if it is a joke or if they actually do. I thought that I had lost interest in Sunderland because they had been relegated, other than the Netflix series, which was absolute gold, they were irrelevant. I thought I would be interested again when they got back to the Premier League or when we were relegated again (under Ashley). However, I feel more invested in my dislike of Liverpool and Manchester United still.
  12. That was really interesting, thank you.
  13. It looks as if she has just been taught about alliteration and she has got a bit too excited.
  14. Yeah, we have all seen how shit Isak is. I was over the moon when we managed to hoy him out of the club.
  15. We were by far an away the better team today. We should be glad as these are the games that normally get away from us. It pains me to say it, but hats off to Sunderland to be sat in 2nd after 9 games. Bloody nuts. Never going to be like that at the end of the season which is the only reason I can accept it haha
  16. Got to love the shithousing from Murphy. Managed to get the goal and the joy of hitting the post
  17. But I am not sure how true this is though. I have two kids and a dog. After reading the comment above about Facebook doing that social experiment years ago, I wonder how true it is that we cannot 'afford to have children'. Our expectations of what we need to have children has massively changed. I had two brothers. I was brought up in a two bedroom flat in the west end of Newcastle. My parents used what should have been the living room as a bedroom so that there was three bedrooms and 1 living/dining space. There is no way my parents should have ever thought, 'yeah, we can afford to have child 1', let alone child 3.
