  1. I didn't think it was deliberate but I felt he wasn't hurt but that he had to make a deal out of it to show it was not a foul.
  2. It would actually make a lot of sense if it was like WWE. The amount of shite. Like when the player who landed on Burn had to pretend he had injured his own ankle yesterday to avoid punishment. I cannot imagine a single NUFC fan (with a brain cell) would have thought it was deliberate.
  3. I cannot believe the outcome of the VAR nonsense. It is absolute ineptitude. Not acceptable when it is the VAR. I find it hard to criticise referees when it is happening live but VAR has no excuse. I think there should be something where the PGMOL recieve a fine of £500k, £1m that goes to the club that has the impact. Reviews of poor decisions from an impartial panel. I think we would soon see a big shift in the success. There is nothing wrong with VAR as a concept. I love the cricket equivalent even with the grey area given as the umpire's call. Tennis is the same. It cannot be a coincidence that the majority of the poor decision do not seem to go against the 'established teams' not necessarily in their favour but not against them. Maybe I am a bit too sensitive.
  4. If we are going to be honest there are so many factors involved with this for it to be impossible to judge. Say he apologised a few weeks back and he scored 100th minute winner against Liverpool, hard to not be over the moon and it not impact on how we feel towards him. He apologised a few weeks ago, played and scored the 3rd to make it 3-0 on 60th minute. The emotions are not the same.
  5. If Liverpool do not bid again. I am not sure how people will spin this into NUFC holding the player hostage. I would even like it if something came out that Liverpool got cold feet after Isak decided to react the way he did. I would be extremely concerned if I was hoping to employ an exciting new member of staff and then found out that they spat their dummy out and turned on their current employer. Part of me wonders if Isak would be in the right frame of mind to play even if he did get his 'dream move' to Liverpool. Something about the way he has handled this full situation will have surely changed his outlook on life, his self-entitlement and his work ethic.
  6. I think what you have is on par with Ashley. Something above the manager and coaching level is toxic and cannot be sorted. You cannot say that Moyes, Ole, Mourinho, Ten Hagg etc, etc are all to blame. Even Rafa struggled to get the performances that Howe has managed. Sels at Forest, Merino and Joselu in Spain Miggy's purple patch, Murphy and Schar on a completely different level. I remember Ole saying something about brining chocolate or something in for the women on reception to create a connection. It is not normal. (*It is to give fellow staff chocolate but the fact it was talked about shows that it is not normal there). They have sacked hundreds of staff meanwhile spending £200m. The place must be toxic. There is no way it doesn't impact people. Players coming to life when they leave as well. I think Sesko is doomed to fail as are the other two, as is their next manager.
  7. I would agree with that if I hadn't watched the Liverpool game. This is a team that is set up to support a striker and Leeds will be there for the taking. We then have a break and it is Wolve. This feels like the best time to play him I also don't think for one second Howe will play him e.g. Bruno, Botman, Isak etc
  8. I am always put off these as I remember watching Tuncay on YouTube and he seemed shite for Boro.
  9. Anyone actually watched him play league games? The irrational part of me thinks, he is like 3rd choice after Etikite and Sesko. The rational part of me says Isak was second choice to Etikite a few years ago and there are more than 2 strikers in the world. I want us to keep Isak until January, even if we lose 10-20m as it is the statement. We can play him as well. It is not petty, just control.
  10. You took the hit for the team. You are the true hero if he does sign.
  11. Was he not caught out that he was leaving by his work email account?
  12. To be fair, he is not wrong with what he is saying. I wonder what Sesko is thinking now. Not as a NUFC fan who was hoping he would come here. He is a young lad who thought he was going to a top team who had a blip season and he has turned up at the Manchester United that we have know for the last few years.
  13. I didn't process when it went to 2-0 that it was going to add to the entertainment tonight. As much as football can sometimes hurt, it also brings some real beauties.
  14. Look back 12 months. Liverpool have already done this to us. Maybe it will help everyone realise that this is not how NUFC do their business. It is not black and white. There will be just as many players who will look in at the situation and wonder what the hell Isak was playing at. He has gone from 0 to 100 in his response. Very few people will look in on this as leave with the opinion that Isak has been done over by the club. Maybe the agents might realise this is not how you conduct yourself in transfer and contract negotiations.
  15. So before the game our midfield were going to play dirty etc. Tonali injured during an off the ball incident. Joelinton injured while a player runs through the back of him for their 5th professional foul after a yellow card.
  16. No. Maybe he will reflect later in life. Doesn't matter. I hope we let him rot. Take the hit. He screwed us. Let us screw him. Who will want him, even on a free in 3 years? Sessko has shown you cannot do anything if you are not in a team who provide you with the ball.
