  1. Seeing for himself on the 28th of January. PLANNING as Leazes would say.
  2. When is half-term? I've got a few days off at the end of feb and I don't want fucking kids everywhere.
  3. -------------------------P---Pts 16 Newcastle 23 23 17 Blackburn 22 22 18 Middlesbrough 23 21 19 Stoke 23 21 20 West Brom 23 21
  4. owen injured and our for a while...never for first time ever in the premiership i'm actually properly worried about us getting relegated The Fish says its all going to be fine. So which three teams are going to finish below us then Fish?
  5. You should've linked that to Gemmill's any good news post.
  6. Sky saying Owen has done his ankle ligaments and is on crutches.
  7. Thank god ashley decided he was going to 'drive the club forward'. Neglecting to mention he was stood in front of a precipice.
  8. Boro and Blackburn are losing. If they weren't we'd be in the bottom three. Now that's what I call turd polishing.
  9. This. Bellamy will score, no diggity.
  10. What are the odds on Bellamy scoring tonight? Nailed on imo.
  11. Could well be in the bottom three this time tomorrrow
  12. Toffee mate of mine reckons the big rumour going round scouseland is that Robbie Keane is going to the blues on loan til the end of the season. Rafa's decisions get curiouser and curiouser... (assuming there is any truth in it).
  13. Well, yes, could be. I just want two weeks without him posting tbh.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:En-uk-Alnwick.ogg
  15. How is it actually pronounced? Every commentator I have heard has called him Anick but I assumed it was pronounced All-N-Wick. Anick (like the town).
  16. Aye, a two week ban (on health grounds) sounds like a good idea.
  17. On reflection would you have rather had Owen despite the injuries and cost or not have had him at all? I'm still pleased we got him. It's the end of the line though in that respect. For the past 15 years or so we've been spoilt really, in always having at least one England striker on the books (Beardsley, Cole, Ferdinand, Shearer, Owen). I really can't foresee that sort of thing happening again*, which will make watching the Shola/Carroll axis even harder to take. *for the purposes of this argument I am not counting Alan Smith as an England striker.
  18. This is true iirc, according to who you listen to they paid 30-50% of the fee. I thought they just give us the sponsorship money up front to finance the deal? That's right kidda, they did.
  19. I would Imagine Owen's record for us must be similar to that ? Almost identical. 61 appearances according to his wiki.
