  1. Aye. Team? St.Louis Rams I bet you couldn't wait for the season to end I'm looking forward to the draft, put it that way. It's far removed from the 'greatest show on turf' era of 1999 to 2001 but I've followed them through the lean times before. At least the way the NFL is set up (free-agency, salary cap, the draft) basement teams can become challengers again within a couple of seasons.
  2. The best away kits: The traditional yellow & green, Northumberland colours. The 1995 'rugby' shirt. Still got mine somewhere.
  3. I had that strip as well. I think I did as a kid. Did it have the Bukta symbols running all the way down the sleeves (copied by Kappa!) and was it made out of the worlds itchiest polyester?
  4. Coincidentally, I was thinking the other day how long we had left on the adidas and NR deals. I would've thought its nailed on that we'll be wearing one of ashleys chav brands next season, Lonsdale, Donnay etc., probably with Sports Direct as the shirt sponsor. Classy.
  5. I think the NFL must be fixing it these days. There were so many one-sided blowouts in Superbowls in the '80s and '90s but most of the last ten seem to have come down to the last play of the game.
  6. because we're not used to adverse weather conditions as they are very very rare? That's it. If you live in Canada or a Scandinavian country where they have heavy snow for months on end I expect you soon get used to driving in it and carry snow chains or have studded tyres and all the gear. Likewise, the infrastructure in those countries will be set up to cope with the conditions. The problem we have is that serious snow is so few and far between that we never get a chance to adapt to it. EDIT: Having said that, there is NO EXCUSE for the dickhead trying to pull his caravan up a hill on the A19 in rush-hour yesterday morning after all the 'keep non-essential journeys to a minimum' warnings.
  7. Aye, just pissing down and blowing a gale now.
  8. The adidas ones after that were better quality but that looked class on the players imo. This. I like the design of that one best, although the quality wasn't there. Followed by the 95-97 beermat shirt and the 03-05 Northern Rock one.
  9. Divine-righters mate. Don't you know they're the "best teeem in der werrrrld", la?
  10. They love the cheesy build up don't they, the crew of that crashed plane ffs!
  11. To be fair Taylor did look like a fucking clown, a clown that had never seen a football before. No need to show the 'been shot' clip again though.
  12. He looked what he is, a very ill old man Still at the match though
  13. I said if he hit the weights he could be a Duncan Ferguson type, not another Shearer.
  14. That is what I think. It maybe crossed his mind for a split second, but that was enough.
  15. Kris Boyd for the striker Did Gilles Barnes go to Fulham? Can't think of anyone else who might be interested in coming here, who sweaty mike might pay for off the top of my head.
  16. I'm putting your mis-spelling of Johnson down to the difficulty you must have typing with that strait jacket on.
  17. You're forgetting that we're ran by idiots and clowns who constantly contradict each other.
  18. Sorry, AP, but he's not. He aint good enough. Great job today, though He wasn't when he was here, but we're sinking at such a rate he could do a job for us now. He's got a decent record as a Championship striker
  19. What's the weather like where you are?
