Another classic NUFC game of two halves. Disappointing after the extent to which we controlled the first half.
-
Not convinced Cisse was off there...
-
We've let this game slip away a bit, hopefully Anita will add some intensity.
-
Fucking hell Tiote....
-
What a brilliant team goal, especially from Shola!
-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_the_Presence_of_Mine_Enemies Another take on it from the master of "alternate history", Harry Turtledove.
-
He's thompers man, it's plain as day.
-
Just another day in the carnival of awful refereeing that is the Premier League this season. Any chance of retrospective punishment for that filthy bit of cheating?
-
Pardew was brilliant today. His plan worked to perfection. But sadly we see Pardew's (and the team's) Mr. Hyde just as often as the Dr. Jeckyll on display today. The story of our season has been inconsistency and if the last two games were troughs this was the peak.

Obertan is so awful. We really cannot point to players like that and say they're legitimate backup for a Premier League side.
-
Get the fuck in!
-
What the fuck? OBERTAN?
-
Not today. Only questionable one was leaving the useless Cisse on and taking Shola off but Shola was probably fucked after 60 or so minutes.
-
You mean the same problem we've had since we sold Ba, the player we replaced 6 months later with a 2 million loan signing?
-
Fucking hell man.
-
We've been decent, hope we don't fall apart now. Let's see if a fresh Cabaye and HBA can stretch their tiring defence.
-
Don't have to put the ball out every single time one of those overpaid fannies stays down.
-
Another demoralising home defeat. They'll send out a half squad and still comfortably beat us. I'm sure we'll rest key players for the Man U game anyway, not as though we're going to beat them either.
-
Someone once posted a NUFC checklist here. I don't remember all of it, but it went something like: About to face Newcastle United? Looking for a win? Tick any box that applies and apply for the free points! [ ] Manager under pressure? [ ] Manager just sacked? [ ] Manager just appointed? [ ] Don't have a manager? [ ] Won last 5? [ ] Lost last 5? [ ] In-form striker? [ ] Striker who couldn't score in a brothel? [ ] Haven't beaten us in 40 years? [ ] Always beat us? Etc.

Also thought Tiote was a real leader and back to his old self. Ref couldn't wait to blow the whistle any time he touched a mackem player though. Disgraceful showing. Cisse can get to fuck and so can this total bullshit no-striker system. Ben Arfa is not the man to lead our line. We haven't looked a decent team since we had Ba to be honest and it's no fucking coincidence that we've not had a decent frontman since he went. Remy blatantly couldn't give a shit - another game, another cheque. He can fuck off as well. Someone called us a "ghost ship" earlier in this thread. Couldn't agree more. A clueless captain at the helm who's been undermined by his fat first mate (who's been into the rum), bottle-less mercenaries, faux hardmen, and complete donkeys manning the oars, and a course for utter and comprehensive mediocrity.

I'd be happy with Taylor never playing another game for us again. Williamson is an honest pro who is a limited player but doesn't try to be something he's not. Taylor is a disaster waiting to happen. You never know what you're going to get with him and derbies are simply not games to play "maverick" (read: fucking insane) players like him, especially in the centre of defence.
-
Santon, Dummett, Williamson, Debuchy. Colo to replace Dummett if fit.
-
There isn't even a debate on Ben Arfa. The reason he was shite against Liverpool was because he was playing as a lone striker, a role that he can't play. May as well hoy Colo on the right wing and then question why he's struggling. I understand Pardew's attempt to fit someone else into Cisse's role because Cisse has been out of form for eighteen months (if there even is such a thing) but it can't be HBA. I'd prefer to see Remy up front with Gouffran and HBA either side of him. Or swap Gouffran for Remy if we're really attached to the idea of Remy playing on the left, but Gouffran did a great job there last season as well and Remy is far more a natural striker than Gouffran is. Remy also did little on Saturday because of the lack of support and supply to him, but I don't see anyone slagging him off for it. I wonder if the (unfounded) criticism of HBA might possibly, conceivably, be slightly directed by an agenda that a poster on this board has, namely to go against the popular opinion.... Ben Arfa is one of our best players and we'll get nowhere leaving our best players on the bench in favour of inferior players. An out of form or subpar Ben Arfa can still pull a rabbit out of his hat, as we saw against Fulham this season and many other times. Not only that, but he loves the Toon and will have a real desire to bury the mackems on Sunday, and he's just the type of player that can put their average, clogging defenders to the sword. Said more than I meant to now, but the point is that all three of our best attackers should play against Sunderland - Remy, HBA, and Gouffran.

Aye, what a load of fucking wankers. I've rarely seen such bias, even for Man U. Marriner can get to fuck too, that was a disgraceful showing.

Get in lad!
