They're getting a load of shit for it. It'll probably be deleted later in the day, or he can keep it up and confirm that he's a cunt that way instead.

Not sure any of this stuff matters, but the Economist has endorsed Labour for the first time since 2005.

Absolutely STINKING reading for the Tories. Which is nice.
-
Labour should do something about this while in power. Make it illegal to lie in political advertising and attach massive, campaign-busting fines to it.

Me too. Still decent patter though. Very convenient that the man who thought condoms were about to be taxed was also switched on enough to immediately recall that Sunak's wife is a nondom.

Dave, with respect, how THE FUCK would you know anything about delivering instructions to a barber.

Aye he's gone to be home for the birth of his third child. He needs to be in attendance for the ceremonial shaving of the eyebrow tramlines.

Foden has returned home for a "pressing family matter".

Looks like the person behind the honeytrap thing with William Wragg was a Labour party member. They've been arrested and immediately suspended from the party. Obviously a total prick.

Fuck festivals. Loads of smelly unwashed people, gross bogs. No thank you.

Click through to see just how many times they've copied and pasted the word tax. They're having a nightmare.

Apparently this was Howe's response to the enquiry.

Chelsea have enquired about Isak apparently. He'd be fucking daft to go there imo but let's see. How Chelsea are able to afford this is absolutely beyond me. It seems like at some point the PL is going to have to step in and say "lads, where is this all going?"

There is a lesson in here for her, should she choose to learn it. If you set out to stir up hatred, you might find that it isn't always focused in your intended direction, you genocidal bleep.

Hopefully Starmer doesn't extend the vote to Russian bots as well as 16 year olds.

I haven't looked into it in detail, but I don't think so. It would be an extremely unusual accounting treatment/calculation that allows you to bank a profit for the future wage of a player. We bought him in Jan 22 for 12m and he's got a year left on his contract, so about £3-4m book value. If we sell him for £15m (which seems a bit high given his age), you're looking at an £11-12m profit.
-
Trippier alone won't be enough to solve the June problem if it is a £40m hole. We bought him for £12m, it'll be a single digit millions profit I would think.

This morning the Times Steve Swinford is reporting as "BREAKING" that Scottish Secretary Alister Jack has admitted to placing three bets on a genny lec in May, June or July. He placed these bets in April. No knowledge, just a bloke having a punt. That's not even a news story, never mind Breaking news. It must occur to these people that by reporting betting non-stories, they are helping the Tories, because there will be some people who see that and go "Is that what all the fuss has been about?! Ridiculous!"

I never listen to LK's news cast podcast thing, but I listened to the one she did in the aftermath of the May local elections. They were playing Andy Street's concession speech (outgoing Tory West Midlands mayor) and I don't know if they didn't realise their mics were still on, but she goes "Ohhhh I REALLY like him!" in this sort of I AM GUTTED voice, and there was this big snotty sniff - I'm not saying she was def bealing, but she sounded genuinely upset. I mean wtf is that.

Agreed, I think Peston, like LK is another one who likes the drama more than he likes the truth.
