I always thought it was rhyming slang for spunk, hence the laughter at your suprising level of candor. I thought that was 'pineapple chunk'. Sorry but why would you have a rhyming slang term for a slang term? oh you crazy guys! (Anyway it's called love custard!)

I know the cartoon / graphic novel or whatever probably contained the same corny language and ridiculously OTT violence etc. but that doesn't alter, for me, that's it's just a film full of very corny lines and completely silly bits of violence. I didn't mind the violence that much though. Surely that the point of that type of cartoony based film though? Corny lines and fantastic over-acting. Perhaps it is which is probably why I'm not a fan of that type of thing. It's basically for comic book fans, which I'm not. I wouldn't say you have to be a comic book fan to like it, I'm not and neither were most of the people who enjoyed it I'd say. The art and the overall feel of the film mean that they can get away with such bad lines, without that it's just poor lines and hammy acting but Sin City made it all work together imo. The grading on it (and some of the breasts) is amazing though.
