Have a look here - http://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/ The sidebar, gadgets, widgets and everything else have been available for xp for years. if you wanna fiddle with it - get the 'Stardock object desktop suite' as that has everything you'll need.

Keegan - Great manager but didnt win anything. Dalgliesh - Proven winner but played negative football. Guillit - Sexy football but lost the dressing room. Robson - Great manager, father figure to all but ultimately lost discipline. Souness - Disciplinarian and pissed off the fans. Roeder - Former player to please the fans but ultimately couldnt motivate players. So if Big Sam is appointed - then that will break this little tradition of appointing managers based on the failings of his predecessor. I'm sure motivation is a big part of the big fellas style but its not the be all, end all of him. I'm optimistic that a manager with more of an 'all round approach' would be a good appointment.

so what exactly does it do better than windows? Well for a start, its free. Completely open source. As is the office suite.
