The club has imploded, there is no tomorrow... ... how the hell do you come back from this? Fat Cunt won't be sitting with the fans anymore, that's for sure.
-
I think people miss the fine line between supporting a name (ie:NUFC) and an entity (ie: a club owned by someone, in our case the Fat Cunt). It's all fair and well someone saying "support the players" or "support the team" but players will come and go, although the name is still there the club itself is owned by Fat Cunt and while you continue to turn up at games it's going to continue to line his pockets and the problem just rolls on, while you're giving him cash he'll stay and bleed you dry and you'll get nothing but a kick in the bollocks for it. Nothing will ever change that I am a Newcastle Utd fan BUT I wouldn't go to the effort of lining Fat Cunt's pockets, I can support a team wherever I am and whatever I'm wearing. Going to matches and buying replica shirts does not make me any more of a fan (christ, I'd have struggled to say that before - I'm not ditching any of my shirts either, just won't buy any more).

Same here, I've just got in. Fuck me, this shit always happens when I'm unable to get near any comms - like Jimbo I'm totally at a loss of how to feel, anger's high up on the list though, Ashley should fucking swing for this. Can anyone give me a quick run down of what I've missed? I've read Kev's leaving statement, is there any other news to it yet? Not really, they sent kk a letter though which was nice. Ashley thinks Dennis Wise is more important to the future of our club than Keegan Its all over basically Complete and utter, total fat cunt wanker.

Indian owner comes in, reinstates Keegan... ... out of dreamworld though, I just can't see past Keegan, while Fat Cunt and his little Cock Puppet Wise are still at the club I'm reluctant to think about it.
-
that would be even more magnificent As angry as I am now, that'd be the final straw for me. We'd just become another faceless, soulless club like Chelsea with hangers-on joining in and claiming they supported us because their uncle's mate's fish had a black and white stripe on it, wandering around their own shitty little city in a Newcastle top, replacing their Chelsea/Arsenal/Man U/Liverpool top of the week before. Too late mate, think we're already there, just don't have the uber money.

I don't think we've seen the half of it yet. Agreed. Still level 2 imo. I doubt the numpties at SJP (most of them anyway) even go the games. Most of them are just charvas who fancied getting on telly / had nowt better to do. The home games though (and the Hull game in particular) could have a poisonous atmosphere. I never seen the kid drinking a bottle of diamond white live on SKY but funny as it is, we're not mackems, we're not scousers, and we're being protrayed as tramps by these kids mulling around waiting for giro day. Sadly Charvers are not just the product of the unwashed or the bin dippers. They exist town & city in the country now. If you work in those surroundings, you begin to notice how many of them there are, generations of them even. Indeed they are scum, scum with a purpose though - every army needs cannon fodder, they're ours

Cheers Mate Hang him Tom

Barbados or the U.S. apparently. My bet is he's been on fantasy island for about a week. He's got the little butler fella running things at our place as DoF

All Ashley needs to consider is that Kev is the man for the job, he knows what he's doing and obstructing him with an iffy transfer setup is holding up a decent profit coming in.
-
That's the thing, if this has all blown up while Ashley's away and is down to Wise and Llambias it's not right to bust Ashley's chops just yet. All that article should say is the fans are firmly behind Kev and IF anything has gone wrong between him, Wise and Llambias it'll be Kev that the fans stick with... in other words you'd best give Kev what he wants to make sure he stays and is happy.

Source? If they did sack Wise though on what grounds would it be? You can't just dismiss people on a whim without some come back from the person getting the boot. The only thing I can think of would be a redundency, that might work if his job no longer existed. A management re-structure which will offer Wise a position on the coaching staff and offer Jiminez and Vetere scouting roles. Of course, if they don't want to accept these new roles... I like the sound of that, sounds like the sort of thing they do where I work when they want to get shot of someone.

Was that a tumble-weed that rolled past?
-
I'm undecided on that, I mean £12m for Milner is pretty damn good... but then like you say the squad is pretty thin. Hard to make a choice for what would best with that really.

Anal - Anil Ambani willing to pay £275 million for the club

Tomorrow it'll be "wide of the mark" Wish it wasn't tbh. -

Mainly by Parky tbf I think it's fair to say that something (or things) happened very recently that were the final straw for the bloke. I sincerely believe he's acting with the fans best interests at heart too. I'm completely unconvinced the others are doing the same. I will stand with him. No worries. I have no doubt he was with us....to the end... I agree, I don't think he had any allies once Mort went either. None with any influence anyway. I think we are beginning to realise what a decent man Mort was. Its not a question of deceny, think its a question of politics. I posted this on NO last night, dont have muc time today so havent edited it for this thread but you'll get the gist as alex has already said virtually the same thing earlier on in this thread. Listen to the man, he speaks a lot of sense (yesterday as well). Chez for chairman. You've got to hand it to him, it makes a lot of sense.
-
Lol, that's get him mate

please be true bout reliance Question is, would Keegan still be here by the time they took over? And if he was would they keep him?
-
If we want to compete we'll need someone with more dough. Simple as, really. I'd rather there were no foreign billionaires owning English clubs but that isn't going to happen, is it? I'd take them just for the excellent food that's likely to be served up at half time, and nobody's going to complain about the new owner downing an onion bahji while sitting with the fans.
-
Not sure he has now. Still don't think this will be resolved in the long run though. It's a complete fucking mess. Also, if the results aren't great (because let's face it, the squad isn't anything special) and we have a bad run the media will heap pressure upon KK regardless of the backing of the fans. Any little thing now will be blown up into a massive dispute etc. It doesn't look good either way. I still think he is gone, but I think if he stays there will be big chnages to prevent a reoccurence. I wouldnt think for a second Ashley or Keegan would let this happen again. Having typed that I realise the chanes of Keegan staying are even less than I thought If the problems are around the structure of the club there is no chance of Keegan staying, simply because they were put in place for continuitity from one manager to the next. If it's down to who has final say there could be some movement. I was thinking more of changes to personel than structure, though I agree that KK would plainly need to excersise greater influence on decisions. I dont think the structure is all bad by the way Ashley has to seriously weigh up what's of more worth to this club, the current chairman and DoF or Keegan as manager. Baring in mind that the fans don't like the first two and Keegan's the one putting passion in the team it's a no brainer really. Moneywise if he ditches Keegan he's shooting himself in the foot, the other two however are expendable. Ashley has a way out of this mess, if he turns round and says he wasn't involved but is prepared to go with Kev's judgement then he can use Wise and Lambias as scapegoats, meaning he comes out fairly unscathed and still able to sit amongst the fans.
-
From Theregulars on NO. Makes sense to me. Whether or not it's genuine ITK, it sounds about right. If KK has no say in who comes and goes, I can't see him tolerating that situation for long and why should he? It's his head on the block and he should at least be able to shape the squad as he sees fit. How he's expected to achieve things after that transfer window is beyond me, and he's been so undermined it's no surprise to me he's threatening to walk away Sounds very plausible tbh, if it is true I hope that Kev sees clearer this morning and agrees to come back and the club make sure he's happy.
-
Back down on what exactly? The Transfer window is closed. No-one's been sold that he wanted to keep, not since he said it was his choice to sell Milner anyway. Keegan has happily gone along with the set-up for 8 months They're the ones that made this mess, they need to fix it. If they made promises to Keegan and haven't followed through with them then had the cheek to call his bluff when he's blown up about it then they need to back down and admit they were wrong. I don't see Kev returning though because it'd always be underlying now and the press would never leave it alone, Kev couldn't work with Fat Ashley and Wise. IF, and it's a big if, Ashley was going to try and sort it out he'd need to dismiss Wise as a gesture that Keegan isn't being undermined. Aye. It's all if's. The only thing we know is Keegan hasn't been sacked and his most recent comments have been about how happy he was with player acquisitions and departures up until Saturday. I don't know if Keegan's been misled, but he's been lying to the fans one way or another. I don't understand, are you supporting Ashley in all this? I don't know. I'm just postulating on the facts we have. Keegan can't argue it's like the Swindon resignation, because he'd only been in the job a few weeks then. 8 months is a long time to go before realising you don't have the control you need. Half of that time being an open transfer window. I know it's sacreligious, but maybe it was Keegan's mistake to agree to the job as advertised in the first place. Wash your mouth out with soap!!!
