I'd love it, love it if we beat them

I thought it had gone too quiet on the Newcastle hating front
TheMoog replied to Snake's topic in Newcastle Forum
If the bit about Hughton was true, it would be a shocking state of affairs, but I don't believe that for a second. I'm afraid they won't shut up about Keegan being underminded until this season is over and Keegan gets some serious money to spend on new players. Aye, that's about the size of it. Because the press have it ingrained to come up with bullshit stories about us and have done for so long they can't help themselves spout nonsense about us seeing as there's nothing solid right now. Unlike anyone with common sense who doesn't expect anything to happen with the team until next season the press are trying to create stories that aren't there just so they can fill columns... personally I'd prefer there to be no news than made up garbage. -

Lazy journalism at it's very best, to be honest you can see why the board might get fed up with having to deny every stupid 'rumour' that gets printed by these idiots... fucking turds. -
My 'Season 2007/2008 Sports Almanac' says we won't get relegated, some crazy old guy with a cane claiming to be a distant relative gave it to me and it's been spot on so far...

I reckon we'll finish around 14th

Freddy Shepherd undermining Sir Bobby and ultimately sacking him and replacing him with Souness.

How long before some spuds fans come on here to rub it in? Personally I couldn't give a flying chuff, I don't like them particularly but if I was them I'd be more concerned with celebrating than what any other team's fans think. I'd kill for a pot and even that mickey mouse cup would be something to cheer about

The official Match thread: Newcastle United Vs ManUre

That's really how I feel but I just cannot advocate the relegation of the club, that could be a seriously damaging thing to happen to us. -
To be fair I've said myself that he deserves a run of games up front to show what he can do, he's now had that run and is still absolutely shite. Give Carroll a start ahead of him. Agreed, he's had his chance, let the kids have a crack

There's something deeply wrong with the players, they're the only constant the club's had along with shite performances and results since the dark days of Souness. I'm starting to wonder whether a wholesale change of playing staff might be the best idea to ditch the terrible decline. -

It bothers me more when a team like Birmingham draws 2-2 with 10 men against Arsenal when all our players have managed is two 3-0 defeats, someone could do with sending the team some heart ala the Pistone Christmas gag. -
With the collection of arrogant twats they have of course it was. Shame it couldnt have happened to someone who deserved it like Eboue. I'm sad for Eduardo though he seems like a decent enough guy Matt, grow the fuck up or keep those fucking stupid comments to yourself. I wouldn't want that to happen to any team's players but he does have a point with the bit about them being arrogant, and Arsewipe Wenger doesn't help matters coming out with shite like that or saying he thinks Taylor should never play footy again. It's that sort of nonsense that adds to the ever increasing rules that are turning the game in to a non-contact sport

Jesus christ on a bike, I never expected us to get anything from this game but you'd think that the players would at least make an effort - the way things are going I'm hoping that Kev gets an entirely new first eleven during the summer! -
Christ that sounds bad, regardless of team I hope it's not as bad as it sounds.

Newcastle United takeover talk given short shrift
TheMoog replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
So who are they blaming? The fat man and anal? Just the general media I should think, they all seem keen to have a pop. -
... okay, FA Cup weekend and a break for the Toon, what can the London media report on now? I know, let's make up a story about Newcastle, they're always good for a laugh
-
From SSN: I don't know about anyone else but I'm bored of his weekly whining, get over it fat boy, you failed. (Admittedly I don't agree with the reporter saying the fans never took to him though, initially I thought he was a good enough appointment and I'm sure there were others too).
-
I liked this guy's response: Greaves... "It's a funny old game" - knob
-
Aye, happy birthday Kev!

Must have been too much weight for the tendon to cope with, it finally gave up...

From the Sunderland Echo Fat mackem loving bastard
-
Like anyone really expected a miracle turnaround?! What the hell are they on? If they didn't know we'd be treading water til the end of the season (when Kev can get stuck in to bringing in his own players and rejigging the team to his ideas) then they must be fucking tapped in the heed.
-
Some of us go to games. Did you walk back? I rode your mother, she's a fucking star. Giddy up!
-
Some fan you are taking enjoyment out of our doing badly I'm not even a fan any more,The clubs to much of a joke to even bother wanting to go see them play."King" Kev's return was the last straw for me. So why go to the effort of posting on a Newcastle fan's forum then if you're not bothered anymore?

And they'd surely think we were cuckoo if we thought everything was hunky fucking dory wouldn't they stop fooling yourself man I'm not saying everything's fine, christ we need to sort a lot of issues out but all this negative crap really is starting to boil my piss - I'm really starting to think (sadly) that fans/press from outside Newcastle might be right in that no other fanbase is more fickle, demanding or negative than Newcastle United fans. I just hope I'm really not the only one who's against this trend because someone needs to get behind the team/manager or you might as well forget the club coming out of this depression.
